i'm 5'9" and i weigh 146 lbs. i know that sounds like a lot but i'm an athlete so it isn't all fat, i do have some muscle. however i will admit i'm more curvy than skinny and i'm not a size 4 anymore like i used to be. but do guys honestly go for the super skinny girls? is that what they find attractive? i kind of feel pressured to lose some weight..

As a guy, I'd say that you're perfect. You can even gain 10 pounds at your height. Curvy is beautiful. Guys that are attracted to super skinny women are very shallow. It's more about the token hottie on their arm and being seen with her than actual attraction. If you want to attract a guy that'll treat you like dirt, aim for that Paris Hilton look.

5ft9 and 146lb does not sound like a lot at all. It actually sound pretty ideal, especially as you are an athlete. You shouldn't feel pressured by society or anyone else, what is wrong with being more than a size 4. I mean if you felt happiest as a size 4, then it's up to you whether you want to be that size again, but if you feel you look good now, then don't worry about it. HTH : )

If you look around at the couples in the malls and so on you will notice that the girls WITH the guys are just regular girls. Guys preferences differ. One guy likes big boobs, another likes small ones, some like curves, some don't. you should just be who you are. This is more about your personality than your figure though. In the long run a guy will fall in love with all of you. Just think of how many relationships fail because they were based on looks alone. When you are interested in a guy it is usually because you have common interests and you enjoy his company. Guys who want a real relationship think this way too. Not about how skinny you are.

I'll be the only guy on here to give you an honest response: Nobody likes fat chicks, only a select few like "curvy" girls, and EVERYONE loves skinny women! YES, guys like skinny women! Of course we do!
You must have known this. Why do you think so many women are killing themselves to be skinny? When was the last time you heard of a girl who went out of her way to be fat?
Take a look around your world. It's a no-brainer.
By the way, not to be harsh or anything, but--honestly--146 and 5'9" is pretty thick.

If your healthy don't worry about it some guys like curves, some don't. I personally do I like a woman I can squeeze hug and make love too without worrying about if I'm going to break her or not. Especially if she is healthy. I can tell you there is nothing more of a turn on for me than getting behind a nice curvy women, grabbing her hips, bending her over and,...... well you get the idea. The world is full of Paris Hilton ,11 year old boy wanna be look alikes. Keep your curves.

You can't make a generalization about 49% of the human race (males), but it has been said many times that men really don't have a preferrence for very skinny women. I weigh about 5 pounds more than you (not that 5 pounds is much on women our height), and I certainly get a reasonable share of compliments, and interested looks, and "Gee, too bad you're married." For that matter, my sister is quite a bit heavier than me, and she has never had trouble attracting male attention, either.
If you pay attention, you'll hear guys comment about some actress and say, "She'd be really hot if she put on about 15 pounds."

Guys go for women with self confidence and a fun attitude. If they see you stressing about weight, asking "does this dress make me look fat", or picking at dinner, it'll turn them off.
Why not just be happy for how you look and not worry so much if you're stick thin?

I know i'm out of the norm but I don't care what you look like as long as it isn't grossly out of weight. I try to go against the flow and look at a girl's personality and if she likes me

some guys go for the skinny girls and then there is men like mines who like them thick with some meat so he would have something to hold on to.
