Talk to the best friend and ask him if he wants to go out with her. Tell him that it's kind of uncomfortable for the boyfriend to go out with the girlfriend when his best friend likes her too. If you feel this way, then also tell him that girls shouldn't come in the middle of great friendship. However, if he's really your friend, he'll understand and he'll back off.

That happened to me (a few years ago) - I just told his friend that I love my boyfriend and I'm sorry that he has developed feelings for me, he should try to find someone too so we can all hang out together.
