God knows what you want before you even ask for it. You must know this is not about your will but Gods will. God has a destiny for every one and he will not give you anything if it will pull you further away from him. I am closer to god than ever before but i know if he gives me a million dollars i will fall away from the faith because the love of money is dangerous. Remember no is just as great as yes, they are both answers. When you pray, it must be in the will of God. Sit all your life asking for a million dollars as a sign and you will die poor and old. God gave us seeds in the form of our mind, talents, jobs, opportunities etc and what we do with these seeds will bring an harvest. No one can tempt God, you cant say show me this and i will beleive in you. Ask God sincerely to come into your heart and be patient. I m currently awaiting an snswer from God, but i i must wait and a yes or a no are good.

God always answers my prayers and 3 days ago I prayed that my son not be able to go into the marines. They told him they didn't want him.Thank you Jesus. He was in a car wreck when he was 16 and has a steel pin in his leg.
Now I do not believe he had a wreck to keep him from the service but I do believe the word of God and in it it says all things work for good to those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose.

Does prayer work? Hundreds of millions prayed for God to stop Hitler, but God did nothing and 30 million+ died. Either God is heartless, powerless, both, or does not exist at all.

I used to date this gorgeous guy. I thought I loved him and I prayed that God would keep us together forever. I caught him cheating and left him because I can't put up with that. A few months later I met my future husband, who although, isn't quite as handsome, has made me laugh every day of my life. He sent me a man that truly loves me and taught me how to truly love, in return. I know this sounds like the lyrics to Unanswered Prayers by Garth Brooks, but it is true.

She said "God," people, not a magic Genie! God allows His will to be done, not yours! He promises you YOUR desires when you delight yourself in HIM. He is not made to bend to OUR will, it is the other way around. ForbiddenFruit, I have over a thousand examples. I'll give you two. God made my dreams of marriage and a baby and a good stepdad for my daughter come true. Today we took our 13 year old to get soccer gear since she joined the team. We really couldn't afford it. We said we trusted God to make a way, grabbed our stuff and went shopping. (credit cards in tack but we try not to use them) Everything came to $67.00 and we shopped efficiently. When we got to the counter it turned out they had a Soccer Package special...we paid $39.00 for everything! Thank God for Dick's Sporting Goods! Again I can go on and on. Pray to Him, girl. Tell Him to prove Himself true and He will. Be patient. Our time is not His time. He has already done all things. We receive them BY FAITH.
With love,
Sleek

I just had mine answered. I asked for a girl and a job but I only received the job. It was bittersweet for me because I really like this girl and I blew it with her so I asked for another chance but deep down I knew it was hopeless. Nevertheless, I'm very happy that at least I got my dream job.

last spring, the topic of summer plans came up, you know, camps, volunteering, clubs, sports and things. wasn't sure what i wanted to do with my summer. So i said to God one night, please, tell me what to do this summer, i want to do what you want me to do. I told him to give me asign, maybe...we would get a club flyer in school, or suggestions for summer volunteering. i said anything, on tv, maybe someone will just say..." i'm doing this real cool camp you shold come."

So my schoolday went on, and i got nothing.BUt i hadn't givn up. I went to lacrosse practice, and nothing happened...or so i thought. At the last 2 minutes of practice, in the huddle, my coach says, " OH!! i almost forgot to give you this sign-up sheet for summer lacrosse travel teams."

So there you have it, i signed up, like God wanted me to do. From that camp, i got asked to do a tournament. I really didn't want to go at all because i didn't know the team. I ended up having a bad time, but it taught me patience, and to work well with others, which i think was somehting i needed to work on at the time.
