I think that you will screw up your friendship with him if you go out with him and it won'work out between you 2 cause you don't like him. And you will also screw up your frienship with brianna cause she really likes him. My advice is to tell him that you look at him only as a friend and nothing else and I'm sure that he will understand you...

Well you need to be honest with him, and just tell him that you aren't interested, don't lead him on or anything like that, and explain to him about how you like that other guy, and that you really want to stay friends and don't want anything to mess with that! Be gentle, but just put it in words related to exactly how you feel, minus how your friend likes him, because if she doesn't want him to know, that's not a good idea!.

Just let him down easy, explain to him like you explined it to us, say you like him but, as a friend nothing more, and you may like to go out but, just as friends. With heavy emphasis on friends.
