There is this guy, who I consider to be a good friend...
I could say I feel a little more for him than a good friend.
He doesn't want me to visit him when he is working.
I asked him and he would just start off by saying, because... but never finish it... he thinks he will be uncomfortable.. if I go and visit..
Why is that? Help!!

I think that's because he is in the middle of working, and it will look really unprofessional for him if he just stops and chats with you. Maybe next tiime you can just go wait for him to finish work and then you guys can hang out and talk for a long time. Then you guys will actually spend quality time together, because he won't have to get back to work in 5 minutes or so, and he won't actually be interrupted at work.

I am a married female and I do not like it when people try to visit me when I am at work. I am just too busy to deal with people when I am working, and I bet my boss would get pissed if I am having visitors when we have a ton of deadlines to meet. My husband wanted to visit me once, and I almost kicked him out.
On the other hand, my husband is a university professor, so his schedule is not as packed as mine, and he does not mind when people visit him in his office.
Do not hold this against him. Maybe he has a very busy schedule (even fast food places can get super crazy at times), maybe his boss does not treat him right and he does not want people to know, maybe he's in a field where visits do not look professional, if he's younger and works with his friends, maybe he's worried that they'll tease him (immature, but you cannot blame teens for being immature)...
If you want to see if he likes you, why not have coffee with him after work? Or on the weekend?
It should not be too hard to arrange to go out together, since you're friends to begin with. Then you can take it from there

Why you want to visit him at work just simply for a chit-chat? Or you have an urgent message to relay?Does he got a mobile? Well for one thing he doesnt want any distraction while working. You know if that guy is frank, He'll tell you to stop bothering him. It seems your the one doing the chasing,.

you ask as if every guy has the same personality, traits, mind, body. some do, and some don't. some people like pink and some people don't.
if he doesn't want you visiting him while he's working, then don't. and if he's avoiding you, take the hint and just lay off for a while?

Work is for working - I've never been visited at work by anyone and I hope no one does. Imagine how unprofessional it will look if he's sat there chatting to you when he should be working?

Would you like it if he did that to you?

there are some places who frown on social visits, so it could be bad for his job. on the other hand, he may already have a gf who visits, who people have met....either way, all bad.
