You can love God and Jesus all you want but until you ask (BEG) for forgiveness and straighten out your life, it's just words.
Salvation is there, free for the asking, but you have to ask and you have to want it. And you have to want to turn away from sin.

If, by accepting Jesus, that means the person has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior, admitted they are a sinner, need saved, etc.. then yes, that person has salvation through Jesus Christ.
Is that a license to sin? No. If someone takes the attitude that now that they are saved they can go out and do whatever, they have not accepted Jesus as their savior. Such a person has paid lip service to God, but not had a change of heart.
When a person accepts Jesus, that does not mean that they no longer sin. We all sin, up until we die. The difference is that a person who has accepted Jesus Christ understands that sin is wrong, that a price has to be paid for that sin. When you realize the price that must be paid is death, it changes how you look at things. Even though the price has already been paid, by Jesus, we understand that we do not have license to sin at will. We must be obedient to the rest of the Bible, to try to emulate the life of Christ to the best of our ability.
The other part of the story is that rewards will be given based on how we use the gifts we are given. This is illustrated in I Corinthians 3:10-15

Very interesting question. Jesus died for all people, from all races, cultures etc. The Bible teaches that if you put your faith (belief) in him he will forgive you of your sins (past , present, future). So, a person can accept Christ, recieve forgiveness, and continue to sin. However, there are consequences to all sin (ex. sin=sex before marriage, conseq.=disease, sin=murder, consq= prison or death). Also we are talking about acts of sin, not continuing to live in sin. Meaning continue to in the lifestye of drugs, or premarital sex, or habitual lying, habitual stealing. These habitual sins need to change, and that person needs to try (with help from God) to free themselves from them. There are many stories in the Bible where a servant is not doing something the Master wants him to do, and when he is caught, he is punished (usually put outside the Master's house). This analogy of a servant (people), Master (God) and being put out (hell) appears often and should probably be considered. Also, the Bible does say that there will be outward expression of the inward change. Basically, you should see change happening over time. No one, wakes up and is perfect (ever), but year by year you should become more like Christ. Hope this helps.

Only those who come to God in The Way He proscribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. That is a subject that takes more space than is best here.
Any mortal today has the oportunity to come to God. There is no sin that can keep one from coming to God as He proscribes.
Jesus paid the sin debt of ALL of mankind, past, present, and future. But the individual must still come to God on God's terms.
For those who truly come to God in The Way He proscribes there will be an understanding that comes with Salvation... That understanding will modify and bring under conviction certain "behaviors" that The one "saved" will no longer ingage in.
ALL. will still sin to one degree or another... that is the weakness of the flesh... but there will be a continual strengthening that will lessen certain sins...
There are far more who "think" they are Christians thatn there are those who truly are. Those who truly are KNOW they are...and they know they can not do whatever they want... and they do not want to...

If the man truly believes in his heart and confesses with his mouth the Lord Jesus, then yes, he is saved because Christ died for all the sins of the world: past, present and future sins of all. However, that isn't an excuse for sinning willy-nilly because if we truly love Him, we'll want to do what pleases Him. It's like when you truly love anyone, if there's something you do that they don't like, you don't do it because it shows you truly love that person. Same thing applies with God. Besides, God knows sin is a part of us, but if we truly want to stop doing things that displease Him, when we ask Him, He'll help us to stop commiting those sins. I hope this helps.
P.S. try reading some of apostles' epistles.

Everyone sins, but the thing is to try not to. Jesus told the woman to go and sin no more, it's really fairly simple. So even though we'll never be completely sin free, to accept His salvation we have to at least try. This constant sinning the same sin figuring its okay because you'll be forgiven doesn't cut it, that's not honest repenting. If you're really repentive, you're not gonna keep on doing it.

Yes, people do sin after accepting Christ as their Savior.....but they would know they are sinning. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer and He will convict us if we do something wrong. He is there to forgive us whenever we go against His will. We must strive for perfection, even though we will not be until we reach heaven. If a person gets in God's Word, prays and attends church, it will be a lot easier to resist sin. God wants what is best for us and sinning can only do harm. Read "A Purpose Driven Life". I believe it will help you. God Bless.

Jesus Christ came into this World Age to restore sight to the blind, give hearing to the deaf, and to free the captives.
The Father knows who will accept His Son Jesus Christ as Saviour. Jesus Christ is God's Saviour.
The Father leads Jesus Christ to one that he foreknew and its up to that individual to either accept Jesus or not. He does not have another choice. He belong to the devil if he does not accept Jesus.
Many are called, but few are chosen. This says it all. Read it again and again till you understand.
There is to be a change in your life after Jesus Christ become a part of you. And if He is now part of you do you really want to snort, inject, or commit fornication with others? I think not. You know to don't you?
You cannot serve two masters.><>

When we accept Jesus we aren't made perfect, we still sin. It is our job to ask Jesus for help and try to fix problems in our lives. As long as someone truly accepts Christ they are forever saved.
