No. There are gaps in the fossil record, but more are being found, AND the evolutionary model is a working and predictive model.
Some people think any gaps in the study of evolution automatically mean a default to creationism. False, If evolutionary theory is ever disproven, it will be done so with another scientific theory that explains the evidence even better.
Creationism explains nothing, nor does it gibe with the physical evidence.
edited to add: Science says nothing about gods one way or the other. Gods are by definition supernatural and therefore outside of the realm of scientific study.

Evolution is a theory about changes in DNA. The distance between related species can be expressed as some number of different base pairs occurring over some approximately known time interval. This implies an average rate of genetic change per generation within an approximately known population size. The rate of mutation in different Phyla can be measured, and for evolution to hold, the measured rated of mutation should correlate with the rate of change implied by evolution. The experiments are not simple and require considerable expertise and experience to interpret. I have not read 200 papers on the topic, so I will defer to an expert who has.

Wow, so basically you just posted "what is the meaning of life" on Yahoo Answers and got away with it! That's impressive.
I don't know that there are any steadfast arguments AGAINST evolution. I'm sure there are alternative theories but you asked for a solid argument and they wouldn't really be solid arguments. In general, schools are taught not to teach evolution or "divine creation" because it upsets one group of theorists over the other (and I think that's stupid - teach kids everything and let them make up their own minds).
So the short answer to your question is no. Sorry...

No, there isn't.
The arguments that you will find from pseudo-cientific creationists include what they call "irreductible complexity" or the "argument from design".
But sincerely, it takes a lot of ignorance about basic biology to postulate that a plant/animal/bacteria/etc could not have evolved (which, as others have correctly pointed out, means 'changed') because they function very nicely as a complex _now_!
Honestly, it would look better if they just said "I won't believe because I don't want to". _That_ I could respect.
PS. And the evolution of cetaceans is so NOT a good example against evolution! LOL!

All scientific evidence supports evolution.
You are right; evolution and science, for that matter, does not prove nor disprove the existance of God. So why the Creationists get all bent out of shape over evolution's factuality remains a mystery. They should accept the truth for what it is and move on.

Basically Evolution means change. You will note that in denouncing Evolution, the religious side will completely ignore previous life forms that obviously lived on this plant millions of years ago.
You are right, Evolution neither confirms nor denies the existence of a creator. We do know that life forms become extinct when the conditions necessary to their survival change too much to support them.

There is no substantive argument against evolution. It has not been a theory, but a proven fact for many years. There also is no need to say it conflicts with the Bible. Evolution and the Scriptures are two different ways of reaching the same conclusion.

organic decision has been many times spoke of and documented - there is no argument that ought to assert that's no longer real. yet evolution is an really large concept composed of many strains of analysis. Any knowledgeable argument adverse to evolution does no longer bypass adverse to the completed concept (we are lengthy gone that factor). They argue the positive factors of the idea, to boot as about competing hypotheses of significant activities that stay fuzzy. that's the very similar as the different medical concept - in truth evolution has a more impregnable footing than many medical positions that the well-known public perspectives as truth.

Christians feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, Yet they have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.
When a part is taken from one organism and used to produce another organism, We know that is called cloning.
A rib bone was taken from Adam and used to create Eve, So Eve was just a clone of Adam, They shared the exact same DNA.
Since they had identical DNA it would be impossible for their descendants to not have the exact same DNA.
Creation is therefore a MYTH.

No there is no solid argument against Evolution other than religious talk about. But scientists are still busy filling loopholes in this process. But everyone who knows about it can have an argument opposing it but not a solid or good one...THUS THERE ARE NO SOLID ARGUMENTS AGAINST EVOLUTIONARY PROCESS.
