There was some sort of testing on some birds in the North (not sure which state) because of a potential strain of the bird flu, durimg the summer, and as the fall gets here, birds will start migrating. That may be why.
Everything seems to rise with any scare....even ground meat is higher!!

They have to buy gas for the trucks to get them all the way up there. Move down here closer to the chicken farms and they are like $1.10 a dozen.
