I've been poor. God is faithful and always provided for me. I've known many Christians who are poor. The Bible says they are "rich in faith" and it's true. They are probably the happiest people you'll ever meet.

Hopefully, that hasn't happened to you or to others. The poor do suffer and when utility time comes the big utility companies have no mercy. It is pay up or else. If you have strong faith in God, it will help you to accept what is. God will comfort you, when times are rough. I have been there and done that. But I couldn't blame God, because I had to use the money to pay peter. I would take from peter to pay paul. There is never enough money to stretch. The big corporate money people are the ones you blame. I know of many who instead of payiing the bills or making arrangements, to pay, would use the badly needed money elsewhere. It is sad indeed when this happens, because we find out that when the utilities say a due date, that is exactly what they mean. I had to make every penny count. No extra or luxuries. I didn't blame God and I knew He could not let it float down to me. I blamed myself, for this dilemma. That is the way of life. Too bad and so sad ! Take care and I pray that God will bless you and help you to prosper, Always !!!

Answer = me. Been there done that. Not all Christians are millionaires, but not all are poor.

And yes God has paid my bills. He has delayed some while he got someone to bring me the money after I prayed for it. He has given me work to pay the rest.

He has fed me when I was poor and on the streets. He has clothed me many times when I was poor and had no clothes. He has saved my life on at least ten occasions. He has looked after me and helped me in many ways for over twenty years.

Now I suggest you go and find out about a man named George Muller who ran five huge childrens homes. All the money and finance for them came from God.

I know a lot of other Christians who are in ministry and depend on God to help them pay their bills every month. Most people that work in Churches, like my wife, make less than 10.00 per hour. Before we got married, my wife was the children's pastor at our church for 8 years and she was able to pay all her bills every month with God's help. And there are many other people who are just like her. Her faith and mine does pay our bills. God provides everything we have, all things come from him. And we are taken good care of by Him.

I'm pretty poor, disabled, single parent who doesn't even get disability income. Whenever I start to worry about money, I give my troubles to God and let Him takes care of it. He always provides in some way, enough for the bills and the basics, and sometimes treats too. I have no debts, can run my car, which I need, its fully insured, full of petrol, annually serviced, I have a nice flat, sky tv, broadband, cupboards full of food and a mobile phone on contract. Sure you have to cut your cloth accordingly and can't spend what you don't have, but some way, He provides. This year I even had a fully paid holiday for me and my daughter. I don't need to borrow or ponce off people and I do have to watch my pennies, but He always comes through for me, and I make sure I give Him thanks for it. by the way, I get £80 a week, I can't work and don't earn any money from anywhere else. My daughter's father pays nothing for her upkeep. He really does take care of it.

I am poor. I am over seventy and live on 710.00 a month, but God takes care of all my needs. Not all my wants, just my needs. And by the way, do you smoke or drink. I found I couldn't pay my bills either when I did that.

If people are unable to earn a living themselves, they need your help!

Many Christians I have known starting out are very poor because they start families earlier than unbelievers and/or are in the ministry and most ministries dont pay a ton, especially in Church of Christ.

I'm poor in the pocketbook, but rich in spirit. God may not pay my bills, but He gives me the means to do it for myself. I have everything that's important.

I am poor in the things of the world, but rich beyond measure in Jesus my Lord! I am also a joint heir with Him in heaven. Could'nt ask for a sweeter deal than that!
