My younger sister made me and six other girls wear hoop skirts to her (full mass/Catholic) Wedding on the coldest, windiest day of that year.
The worst part is...it's my own fault... I'm the one who introduced her to Gone with the Wind back in Junior High. That's a moment in history I'd take back if I could.

I've seen those sky blue tux's in a wedding. Ick. Marriage didn't last either.
I'm going to a wedding where the bridesmaid dresses are burgundy with gold trim and look like the goal was to get as much material into the dress as possible. I guess the good thing is that it looks universally horrible on each of the 9 bridesmaids.

It was Lavendar with flouncy off the shoulder sleeves that looked like a maniac had taken shears to them. there was too much cleavage that meant the larger busted girls had to buy a special bra to wear it...nothing says I hate you like being forced to buy new underwear. The bra pulled the bosom up and sort of sat under it like a shelf, so the tops of the poor girls breasts actually wobbled like jello on a plate whenever they moved. There was a delicate pinkish/purple sash of taffeta that had a firm chokehold over the ribcage tied below the breasts in a bow in the back...I have noclue why....apparently someone had at one time told this designer...that the way to a womans heart is to squeeze it out of her neck with clown-gear.
The bottom of this contraption- of- impending- heatstroke, had a full skirt with a friggin HOOP. Like the sort scarlet o hara would have worn had she had some sort of serious head trauma the night before the event. ALLLLLLLLLL day long the matron of honor was screeching "DONT SIT ON THE HOOP" like some sort of lion tamer. There was the hideous hair ribbons and silk roses and baby's breath all done up in prom night french braids...and tiny tiny tiny bouquets that looked half wilted and half assed. It was like they took one big bouquet and divided it up among 6 girls. The worst part about it was the bride...who seriously wouldn't let her best friend from highschool be a brides maid because she was too fat..and would make her pictures look off....

the slits in the dress went to upper thigh and we bridesmaids looked like dominatrixs on parade with the shoes..
I plan to burn my girlfriends house to the ground to eliminate all photographic evidence of me in the outfit
