The possessive for McGee would be McGee's; for Massie, it would be Massie's. To show possession of something, grammar rules dicate the addition of 's as in "It was McGee's kid who flunked English 101".

If it belongs to the whole McGee family, it would be the McGees'.

If it belongs to one of the people in the McGee family, it would be Bob McGee's.

You would put 's for anything, but for plural nouns, you would put just an apostrophe. Cows' bells. However for someones name that ends in S, like mine, James. You just put apostraphe, though there is some debate of that. My dog is James' dog.
