Ignore the idiot. If you really value being part of your school's football team you MUST ignore the idiot, least you become an idoit too!
You have to decide what is more important. Your adolescent male pride or a more important value....team membership and the maturing effect being part of your school's team can have on you. Membership on your school's team can look good on your college applications.
Even if you don't go to college, membership in your school's team will look good to potential employers.
Getting into a fight because someone is "talkin' tough" at you will not do anything for you at all.
A rap sheet will not help you get a job or get into college.
But you need to decide.

Here's a hint junior, stop typing in all caps. It makes you sound even dumber than you really are which I'm sure is pretty damn dumb. Football is your life because you aren't smart enough to have a life outside of football. Leave this kid alone, he's probably smarter than you anyway. Just because you're offended when people "TALKIN TUFF"(retard) doesn't mean you have the right to harm them. If football is your life you know what you're going to do already so why the fu** are you asking people here. You obviously have self worth issues and feel the need to vent your inadequacies here.

Don't fight someone just to prove that you are tough. That is very immature and I assume that you want to take the high road. If you didn't you wouldn't have asked this question. Plus you could be throwing away a promising career in football and for what just to prove you can beat up some boy. What if your future holds playing in the NFL. Which is going to happen as long as you don't act like a jerk. Just read your tarot cards and it is definitely in your future. But this could be the deal breaker. Besides in ten years you won't even remember his name.

ok here is what you should do.. go to your football coach and tell him about your situation.. and if he says that you will get kicked off the team then dont do it,, and i wouldnt recomend you do the fight in school cause my friend did last year and he got communtity service,, 1,000 dollar fine,, and 1 year of probation.. so tell everyone that you are gonna fite at maybe a H.S baseball or football game or someting like that so people can still see you beat him up and you wont get in trouble..

Hey sweetie,
Kill him with kindness. Fighting proves nothing except that one is stronger than the other. It means nothing. Besides, being on the football team is much more important. Maybe he is jealous because he is not on the team? And if u fight he knows you will be kicked off.
The best way to deal with this is let him steam because you smile and ignore him.
Good Luck

First you need to grow up. Fighting never solves anything and in a fight everyone lose. Now if you really want to fight him and not get into any trouble you need to do this. Get him in a boxing ring with the gloves on and in a control environment. There are many gyms that will allow visitors to use the gyms for short periods. this way he can kick his a33 or he can kick your a33 and no one get hurt.

If football is your life, then don't fight him. I would say to get your friends together to watch you fight him outside of school, but then you can get charged with assault...and then the school would probably find out about it anyway, and then you could get kicked out of football anyway.
Swallow your pride, and ignore him. I know that will be hard, but it's for the best

Don't fight the kid. You have to stay in school and play football, so it pays for college and you can become a lawyer. When he gets divorced you can represent his wifey and take him for all he's got. Seriously, just let it go if football means more than he does.

My vote would be not fight then.
If you can't live with the shame, then you have to encounter him outside of school- which might carry even worse consequences.
If you need people to see your victories then you haven't been in many fights yet.
