Islam requires its followers to physically practice their religion every day. Meanwhile, it became possible for a Christian to practice only once a week. Is this too loose a grip? Is Islam's grip on its followers stronger because it has no Sabbath Day?

Forgive my ignorance about the Islamic Sabbath Day (Friday). But I don't think the fact that there is an Islamic Sabbath weakens my point, rather, it strengthens it. Christians are only required to PUBLICALLY PERFORM A RITUAL of their religion weekly, but Islam has DAILY requirements of that kind, does it not?

Islam does have a sabbath, it's on friday. "Jumua'a" in Arabic. Friday's are sacred to us and it's Muslim duty to attend and preform the congregation prayer and listen to the sermon by the Imam. I do agree that the every day physical and emotional practice is something very benificial and no other faith makes duty. As when you sincerely devout yourself 5 times a day, it washes yourself of sin and keeps you on the alert not to sin as you'll be facing God after a couple of hours later.

peace unto you

They are both as rubbish as each other ... even though the xtians may not pray 5 times a day at the local jihad HQ, they will still defend their beliefs with "oh, but i do pray every day at home" as if that makes up for it ...
(praying is proven not to work as prescribed by the 'holy' books)

Religion - Its all a crock. in our time, we are going to see some rather catastrophic wars because of religion and i think we all know who the war is against ...

Well i am glad i am an 'infidel' then :-)

Why do you ask a question when you haven't bothered to read a bible? True Christians practice their faith everyday, we are to pray without ceasing, which is actually to always keep the Lord's will in mind at all times, and to physically pray over all decisions that are confusing or major changes, and for repentance, reflection, and wisdom. Sunday is the day we have fellowship with others like minded, to gather in praise to God for what He has done for us.

You are in error because you dont understand Christianity or the Scriptures......

Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. -Luke 9:23

Being a Christian isnt about only living for God on one day, but the rest of the days of your life!

UH...GOD is the one who set aside the seventh day and blessed it, as a day of rest. Abraham knew that.
I know...why not set one day aside every week where nobody blows anyone up, or beheads anyone, or murders their kids, or abuses their women...and call that the Muslim Sabbath??

Christianity asks its followers to pray everyday in everything they do - so, as you've just pointed out, they are equal.
