i need some help whats a good excuse to borrow dads truck for the night???

allright my car recently broke down and im supposed to be goin to a buddies house with some friends and some girls tonight. well i want to borrow his truck tonight to go out there but they dont really want me to take the truck because i messed up my first car out there but that was nearly a year ago since then no accidents. i dont know what to do but id really like to be able to take the truck

You don't need an excuse just tell him why you want it and tell him you will be care full and he might let you take it.

well since you are unwilling to be totaly honest with your parents it's no wonder they don't trust you - they can sense that, you know......here's a different idea - why not just tell them what you told "us"? if you have nothing to hide, why on earth would they object? Maybe being open with them will shake them up enough to make them not tune you out automatically - I mean at least give it a try. Honesty is almost always the easiest way to go but it scares people so they twist everything up, get caught, then have to live with the fallout. You aren't asking to go rob a bank you just want to go and socialize. Just please don't expect that just because you are honest that you should then be entitled to get what you want every time. But it will build trust. if my kid messed up my car I'd be a little reluctant. TALK to them. Don't lie!

If you honestly think someone should tell you a good lie to tell your parents then you need to grow up...Otherwise if you would like someone to give u some advise on what to do then thats different. Why don't you just tell them that it has been a year that the accident happen. You have become more responsibly since then. And to give you a chance to prove yourself. First of all, DON'T lie to him. When he finds out he'll never trust you again with anything!
Just ask to borrow it and tell him why you want it. Promise to be extremely careful with it, then be sure to be careful with it.
If he says no, then find another ride or ask if he'll drop you off where you want to be.
Don't ever make the mistake that parents don't know what you're up to, because they do! They were teenagers once too you know, and they probably know or have done all of the little tricks that you think are new.

Tell him you need to go help out a friend whose car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Or that your friend's car's battery died. Then you call them up and tell them you're gonna be late, that your friend's car is really messed up. When you return the car, make sure it is in the same condition that you got it in. And return it with a full tank of gas.

basically say you truly like how one candle smells, and then ask her for the lighter. Then, you may want to even gentle the candle proper in the front of her, and take it for your room or anyplace. gentle what you wana smoke with the candle then. then you definately received't have the lighter, and he or she may no longer be as suspicious.
