Have you heard of this gang initiation thing? Well to get initiated into a gang, you have to drive a car along the road without the headlights on. The first person that gives you the courtesy flash you have to turn around and chase them and kill every person in the car. Read my other questions to get more info!

Yes, I know this doesn't belong here. I'm just warning people.

This is an urban legend.
For a good answer to this go to snopes.com

I come from a VERY rough town and this was such a pervasive myth, everyone thought it was real. Even my father the trauma surgeon, who had regular interaction with gang members (he stiched them up when they came through the ER.)

When I read the article in Snopes I told him it was a myth and he didn't beleive me. I told him to ask around, did he actually know anyone who had been hurt this way.

Surely a Trauma surgeon, in a town with more violent crime than New York or L.A. would know at least one victem of this unusual nature.

He saw patients who were victems of gang rape, and people who had been stabbed 40 times, so if this "initiation" was real he should have some contact with it, or have a co-worker who had contact with it.

He asked around for several weeks. EVERYONE had heard of it, everyone was SURE it was real.

NO ONE could identify a patient or case associated with it. To be more clear. ALL rumor, no evidence. Urban legend had overwhelmed our top scientists and health care professionals. What chance do us "regular joes have".

Urban legend. It gets the best of us.

I heard of that a while ago.I really appreciate the information. We have 2 babies and i would hate for anything to happen to them. Alot of people are saying it's an urban legend, but you never know people could actually think it's a good idea and start doing it. Just because it was a while back don't underestimate what people in gangs will think of next.

Maybe you should call the police department and ask if this is legit. They can and will check up on it for you. If you got this from an e-mail, then it is certainly a lie.
