Stuff high in protien. Hair grows because your body can only process so many protiens in any given day, and it turns the extra protien into hair and nails.
Also, keeping it happy on the outside helps alot, too. Do some oil treatments, find a moisturizing shampoo, and avoid using metal things in your hair.
Above all, remember that it only grows 6 inches a year, and patience is the best thing you cn swallow to get that long hair you dream of.

You can do several things to help hair growth. The best is to take some vitamin E or increase vitamin E in your diet. Also scalp massage, getting regular trims, and some people swear by using horse shampoo and conditioner (gives you silky and shiny hair).

Take a good multi-vitamin everyday and eat healthy. That should take care of your problem. There is no "magic answer".
