I kind of felt that way in school too. I didnt fit in with the religious kids and I didnt fit in with the partyers. Just dont wear your religion on your sleeve, I guess you are still young and you are experimenting, making mistakes, and finding out who you are. Just relax and try your best.

Ummmm, you know why God had to resort to sending Jesus to die for our sins, right? Because none of us humans -- nobody, ever, except Jesus -- could be perfect. NOBODY could reach God by his or her own merits. There's no reason why you should be perfect. God doesn't expect that. People might, but that's not who matters the most, especially when dealing with matters of Christianity.
Of course you make mistakes. Showing that you are a 'good Christian' doesn't mean you make no mistakes. It means that when you do make these mistakes, you own up to them, ask forgiveness from God and any humans you've offended or sinned against or hurt, repent of that sin, and go forward in His love and forgiveness and freedom. Yes, you definitely need the Holy Spirit's power for these things, whether you believe in the charismatic gifts or not. His power doesn't have to come with charismatic manifestations, but will help you do what God wants you to do.
Also, because of your age, get plugged into a good youth group where the Bible is taught. Ask around at school. Other kids will be glad to let you know about their youth groups, and may even invite you along. If your own church has one, great. Go there. If it doesn't, or if the Bible isn't actively taught in the youth group your church has, go visiting. It's really ok.

That's why we don't give ourselves nicknames like that. If people expect you to be perfect, you'll always be a hypocrit and a failure in their and your eyes. I have trouble living right as well. I'm a drinker, and alot of other stuff. The truth is, when you're busy doing stuff for God and the less fortunate, you're too busy to mess up. But being in middle school, you obviously have less options than someone who can drive and all that. You're a Christian (I'm assuming) and that's all you need to go to heaven. But when it comes to being judged by the world, being perfect is impossible and it's not enough anyway. All you can do is forget about talking about what's right and wrong and start being an active Christian. By that I mean doing things you're not expected to do--helping people, going out of your way, talking to the unpopular people(most importantly, be their friend), and get out and do something for the community. Don't go around telling people how much of a Christian you are, let them see it. I understand you're just trying to say you're not denying Christ with that nickname, but other people see it as pious, like the pharisees. Not everyone is going to like you for being a Christian. In fact, most people won't. But that's not important. What's important is that there are people out there who need things. Things you have in excess.
Don't just read this and think "wow, you're right" and then just move on...put it into action. people need you. Jesus put more emphasis on giving to the poor and loving people than anything else. This is how we are to build the kingdom of heaven.
Problem is, we never give what we should. I know I don't. We get caught up in our own lives and feel like we should give when we have extra. But sometimes extra is much less than what we think.

No matter what age you are, living a Christ-like life is hard. Before you begin your day, ask God to walk with you all day long. Ask for His help in dealing with the temptations you face. And when you make a mistake, as we all do, confess it to God sincerely. And He will forgive you! Having a church family can help. I find that inspirational books do help me to understand scripture better and I often find role models in them that behave in a more Christ-like manner than I do. Find a Bible for teens. There are some good ones out there that will help you deal with your everyday life. It's wonderful to find a young person trying so hard to be a good Christian. God bless!

take what you believe is truth put it to the Truth test. base your facts on what has been witnessed and testified to the most. it is kinda like putting religions on trial. you will find ,all are not perfect ,and all have a few good points ,but what you believe is what is most important what some one else believes is worthy of study but not always true. use Books that have been inspired such as the Bible and writings about the Bible buy a Strong's Concordance and check for your self what is the true meaning of a word.

It's starts with you, not any book you can pull off the shelf or any person here on earth you can talk to. Your not the only person on God's green earth that is this way. Your body houses the greatest gift a person can be given if they are saved...The Holy Ghost.. Just like your physical body needs food to survive, the Holy Spirit need the Word of God to feed Him.. If you feed the Spirit inside you as much as your flesh or physical body it will help you maintain your spiritual walk. Trust in His Word and put away the things in your life that are interfering with God's time with you in His Word...God Bless... fight the good fight.. HiiiiYaaa!!!!!

Do you want to hear what is comforting or what will work?
If you want comfort listen to the above comments. If you really want help I'll give you some. Life is harsh. It is full of unjust things. One is that people construct false ideas in their children's heads that are hard to get out. These ideas can lead to psychological trauma and mental illness. Religion and god fall into this category.
If you want real help with faith, abandon it. Abandon belief. Accept reality as it is and don't live in fear. Accept the fact that, "I don't know." is a reasonable answer to most of life. Don't simply fill in the answer with "god" or "because it says it in the bible." Think for yourself.
If you are a good person with a good set of ethics then you will be fine. Don't be a freak. Let Jesus be. If he existed he is long dead and was never aware he would be given the Persian god Mithras' status as a Roman cult figure that led to the current form of Christianity.
Get some education, read a bunch, open your eyes, shed the fear and become an adult in body and mind. Don't be afraid, it really is great once you see reality as it is.

Don't worry about what people say or what you think,it's positive. If you think positive you will BE positive.I'm not saying you're going to be perfect and not do wrong but just try it.It works for me.I have done many things in my life that might not reflect on what I am or who I am but I strive for the positive of what God has done and will do in my life.Just think about that much.
God Bless,

If you haven't read the Bible from cover to cover yet, I think you should. After all, it is said to be "God's Word", right? Reading the whole thing will either strengthen your faith or it will make you realize how silly the whole Christian religion is.
