i REALLy want my hair black just like Amy Lees...but im not goth i just think it would be awesome...and im absolutly not going to regret it!!!

First and foremost: Amy Lee is not goth. Secondly, if you want to dye your hair that badly, try some temporary washes or semipermanent dyes. Ask your parents if they'll let you dye your hair if you save your allowance, babysit your siblings, get good grades at school, ect. They'll realise that you are both willing to wait and work hard to get what you want, and they will take it as a sign of maturity. Well, good luck.

Get the wash in non permanent hair color. It only lasts 6-8 weeks that way you can try it out and your parents will know that it isn't permanent. Compromise. When I was younger I would change my hair color with each new season.

Maybe some tattoos and piercings too, eh? Hey, go for it, I say. Really!
But do they have to BUY those things too?
Maybe it's best to wait until your outta the house and don't have to
'ask permission' like a child.

dont dye it black. Go for a very dark saturated brown. That is always beautiful.

The way i just got my hair changed, was i told my parents that it was only for halloween & after that i will change it after, but then after u get it black, say that u r busy so she will never take you too the salon!!! lol good 1 huh??? hope this helpz!! iT helped me!!!

How old are you? Until you're old enough to live in your own place and pay for your own stuff (food, clothing, etc.) , respect your parents and try to make them proud.

well i didnt ask for permission and i dyed it black and i dont regret it, it looks a whole lot better! just do it! ........its better asking for forgiveness than permission! :D

Just go ahead and dye it yourself. Don't argue, don't convince, don't ask... just dye your hair.

keep talkinga bout it to your mom. i'm sur eyou can convince her. and then once you have her yes then you can go ahead and do it.
