Most deployments are for one year. When you return back to the states it is unknow how long you will actually stay. It will be atleast 6 months for for the most part you will be looking at a longer break then that.

I used to loiter around the airfield when I had time on my fingers and capture rides with the numerous birds that were going up for practise flights, and so on. in the adventure that they have got area on board and the pilots are respectable human beings, it should not be demanding to get a vacation. you could bypass to flight operations and discover out what and at the same time as the flights are. Then communicate with the crew chief, pilot or co-pilot about getting aboard. exhibit your interest contained in the AWO software and which will likely help some. think about to fill out a kind to get aboard; we used to ought to attempt this yet i'm unable to discover it at present day. perchance it truly is no longer used. Flight operations on the sector can inform you.
