Hello Yahooers, my dog Jose is a bulldog and he fancies barking and chewing on nikes. lol. God, he dribble from his mouth but his fur is not kind to the flirtatious touches I provide for him. Is baby lotion massaged sensualy on his chubby (too much bacon - ha - he enjoy that yummy food morsel) body ok for his canine beliefs.
Thank you mister yahoers!

Probably not. I suppose your talking about an English Bulldog. Those da*mn things are allergic to everything. Mine smelled like a decomposing skunk farted. The baby oil/baby lotion thing also backfired on me. It irritated his hair follicles and actually made him stink worse and gave him a rash that had a completely different yet horrible smell. Best thing is to take him to the vet. I got some crazy, hippie, organic, dog wash crap that almost cost a months wages but it was actually worth it. Also the vet drained his anal gland which quite possibly was the root of most of the odors. The vet drains the gland about every 6-8 weeks and old Pedro is slobbering and farting like a pro and I can actually get within five feet of him.

No, only because it might irritate his skin besides he will lick it off and might get sick from it. A good dog shampoo with a dog conditioner will work wonders for him. You can find it at your local pet store. Make sure it's specialized for dogs as to keep his PH good (if not he could get itchy). Another wonderful thing that was recommended by my vet is fish oil tablets. You can poke a hole in the tablet and squeeze the fish oil right on his food (trust me it's the easiest way). Give him maybe two a day and after a while his fur will start to feel soft. Good Luck and remember to rinse the shampoo and conditioner off real well so his sensitive skin won't get irritated since bulldogs are prone to skin irritations especially on their chest with all those folds of skin.
