Ruby: Someone made the accusation in an answer to a previous question of mine and so I thought I'd see if anyone else shared his opinion. Is that so narcissistic?

Specific to you, I haven't noticed a change. In general, I feel we tend to become more extreme, or more set in our ways, on topics we have a strong passion for. If we happen to run across a path that leads us away from our current one (information we didn't previously know), then we may not be as extreme. Barring something like this, I feel we do become more extreme as the years go by.

You are much less extreme. With the passing of time you have begun to notice the way in which ordinary people go about the business of their lives basically doing the best they can. If you can see yourself and not judge animals or children than yay, even though you see yourself as a martyr or perhaps a legend, what would you call it? Possibly a force majeur - a power that could possibly usurp the very god that you claim to swear allegiance to. Do you not realize that this god of yours is vengeaful and will smite you when she realizes you are not all hers? Please do not tremble in fear for one day the sacrifice of the goat and the lion shall be made flesh in trembling and gnashing of jaws.

I don't know if u are but i surely are...!
From the day i started participating in Y answers i have found the faith that i lost two years ago...!It's because people don't appreciate...and don't realize that the world hasn't been made only for them and by them....They also don't recognize that there is a higher power that guides them!Whatever your religion is...whatever my religion is...in order to progress we have to believe in the existence of a higher energy, source and guider.

How extreme were you before? Maybe you've just learned you need to have more of God in your life only you didn't mention God, just religion. The 2 are not synonymous.

Myself, I see no difference in your questions for the time I have been using this forum. So, I would say no you are not more extreme.

You are perceived as extreme because you question Atheists instead of religions.

Generally speaking, a young man starts out harsh then grows into grace and peace. A woman starts out with grace and peace then grows into harshness.
