This is what I would say.
I search for you all of my life.Now I only have ten minutes to live.I know I haven't you or your children that long.So as I ask myself was it worth the wait.Yes every second.I know I've only known you for ten minutes.But I've known you all of my life.You are everything that I expected you to be and much more.You are love,honesty,Your presence gives me peace.Not only in this death.But you have gave me peace all of my life.I have been waiting for this moment all of my life.If I only had one second to spend with you.My wait was still worth it.You are my day,my night,my everything.You are my soul mate and I love you.I"ve always loved you and I always will.Now all I want to do is spend the rest of my life holding you and your children.

I would tell them him how i felt and hope that he would understand. My last words would probably be something like "I love you" or "Never forget me". But I dont think it would be right to just die and let them wonder how you felt about them.

I'd tell him EVERYTHING! And then I would tell him not to grieve for too long over my death...I would be satisfied just to know that I am remembered fondly.
