Tell her as a friend , that it is more important for her to be active and eat healthy and the rest will fall in place for her. If she truly thinks she is overweight, which from the sounds of it she isn't, then following the duidelines to liveing a healthy lifestyle should sound like a good idea to her. Unless she is already aware and tries these ideas. In that casde she might have some serious issues. You might want to talk to her parents and let them know your concerns, maybe they tell her in so many words that she is. Whatever the case , it is good she has a friend like you to keep her grounded. I would tell her, "okay, so you think your'e fat, then do something about it, stop drinking pop and all the other junk you put into your body ," . Just watch for signs of starvation, anorexia and bulimia. Good Luck!

Tell her to go to the doctor and ask him. If he tells her she isn't fat, then she isn't. And if he says she is, then he can suggest a diet.
She won't believe you either because she's seeking attention OR when she looks in the mirror, she actually sees a fat person looking back at her. (Don't ask how that works, but it happened to me and I was ten pounds under weight at the time).
Tell her the doctor will tell her the truth of the 'fat' situation and she should start acting accordingly. But at 5'5" or 5'6" and 130 pounds, she isn't fat at all.

She in all probability has an eating ailment. once you have one, you initiate seeing your physique thoroughly distinctive than how that's, and ironically the greater weight you lose the "fatter" you spot your self. do no longer submit along with her asserting she's fat. merely tell her she's no longer fat, she is familiar with she's no longer fat, and you're no longer likely to hearken to her insult herself anymore. tell her you like your friends to be useful, to no longer hate themselves. and ensure you do no longer talk undesirable approximately your self, the two. Teenage females many times get into "competitions" appropriate to the undesirable effective properties they think of they have, and it merely traps friendships in a vortex of negativity. do no longer enable that take place with your friends.
