To start off I am gwb22's wife. I know a lot of his crappy questions are about Mexican's. Illegals are illegals regardless of whether they are white, brown, yellow, or pink. I know there are a lot of hispanics who are illegal but I'm sure they aren't all Mexican. I am very proud of my cousin who has come here today from Jordan(Middle East) legally. I have been waiting 2 years to see her. If illegals came her legally I wouldn't have a problem. If I knew someone who was illegal and wanted to come here legally I would do the best I can to help them. I am not a racist b!itch like I know some will say. A racist person is a person who dislikes anyone who is different than themselves. I have a son with brain damage and he is different,in a good way, I love him with all my heart and soul.

hey my questions are not crappy,
you see here is something, yes i have gotten a Little racist against Mexicans as of late, but mainly because of answer i have seen,question's i have seen, but most of all the disrespect they have shown America here in the USA.
yes it is true our son has CP and is turning 2 this month, he is our pride and joy along with his brother, we have fought everyone from Mexicans to Americans to blacks and whites because of hi looks, actions, and other things people think is different.
you say i am racist so be it, but i am only this way for the actions i have seen lately (last few months) it isn't against all Mexicans just the ones that displayed the actions they have.

She's right and educated adults will know that! It is truly sad and pathetic when people don't open their eyes and ears and actually pay attention to how many people try to come here legally and illegally and from many a place! I don't care when anyone wants to make a better life for themselves as long as they do it legally and if they can't come here legally at first then do everything in your power to be an upright citizen and prove that you should be here legally! Pay taxes, learn the language, pay your bills, get a real drivers license, etc... I'm the offspring of a man who jumped the boat from Europe (obviously illegally) and paid his dues the right; also a mother who came here legally and also paid her dues gladly because she was here! No one ever should like a free ride nor expect to get one! It's certainly not about race and they certainly are not all Mexican, it's much easier, as well as a crutch, when it's just 50 feet away. Also, are you going to get your fat *&& off the couch and do what they do inorder to make sure you can provide? I didn't think so!

I wish people would realize it's not about race too. And I don't think people for the legalization of all immigrants understand the damage they are doing. I really didn't have much an opinion about this topic b/c I felt like there are too many factors I don't have enough knowledge of (i.e. border protection, finances, etc.). But now that I saw a flag of another country being raised over a federal post office building in Maywood, CA, well now I am just pissed. What a way to show you want to be part of America, by insulting us. I'm insulted as an American that you are saying you want to be legalized but you are waving the flag of your country. I thought you want to be here b/c you love it here, shouldn't you be waving the American flag. Now I don't really care what happens. That may be wrong but I feel like I am being slapped in the face by seeing all this love for the country you are trying so hard to get away from.

People who come to the USA illegally scream racism when they have not better excuse to excuse their illegal activities here.
It is designe to change the subject from their illegality, to the other person who is pointing this out's, supposed racism.
If a person doesn't care about race, color or creed in those coming into the country legally but does not like illegal immigration. Simply put, there is no basis in fact for a call of racism.
In fact, it is my belief that the person calling others racist, frequently lives in that very state of mind themselves ...that is in the state of mind of a racist.
Why else really would they bring it up? It doesn't have anything to do with legal immigration or illegal immigration.

I agree that illegal means illegal. people are ignorant. I answered a question once by simply stating anyone here illegally should be deported back to their country of origin. Three people asked why I hated mexicans (and that is putting it nicely. Never once did I mention anyone's nationality or race. People jump to conclusions out of pure ignorance.
I live in a town an hour from the border. I look hispanic. I am spoken to in Spanish at least 4 times a day. I am intelligent enough to speak back in kind. I travel to Mexico often and never once has anyone ever even looked at my identification. All they ask is, are you a citizen of the United States? I answer yes and they send me on my way. That is one checkpoint on the way there and two on the way home. This is why people here tend to get angry. Not because Mexicans can get through the border easily, but because anyone can. How many people have flown to Mexico from other countries and passed through that same border.
People here illegally take more than they contribute. Working for less than minimum wage because you are illegal keeps base pay low for jobs. Welfare is given to illegal aliens. I know of one woman who recieves TANF (cash) , food stamps, only pays 42 dollars a month for a condo because of a government funded voucher system, never has to pay taxes, and recieves free healthcare for her three children. She has used this handout for 11 years now and is here illegally. She lied and said she came from Italy for a 9 month visit only and never left. No one will do anything. They will not deport her, they will not cut off her assistance. What does this show us? That you can break the laws set in place to provide order and care for decent hard working individuals and eat steak and lobster twice a week (and they do). Meanwhile, I work, pay my bills and get to eat beans and rice three times a week to save money so I can afford healthcare.

Most of us know its not about race...but when the majority of the illegal aliens in this country are hispanic what can people assume? Let's see hmm...southern border...Mexico...Northern border Canada...anybody here got a problem with Canadians sneaking into the country? Yeah, I didn't think so. In fact, CSPAN did a story. Said it would be a whole lot easier for a Canadian to enter the U.S. if they would just fly to Mexico and cross the border.

Those for illegal immigration will never admit this is not about race. We want our borders closed and illegals out of our country. Only those who came across the border with Mexico seem to have a problem understanding this and continually accuse us of being racists. It hasn't anything to do with race. Illegal people from other countries understand this. Why can't they?
The only reason I can see is they are just plain ignorant.
When will they realize illegal immigration is not about race? When hell freezes over, most likely.

not to be mean but alot of them are hispanic im not racist but i have a problem with mean hispanic people who are illegal and breaking the law and they look at me like they are better and they just keep having like a million babies they should have to obey the law everyone else would. if i worked here and i didnt pay taxes the IRS would get me so how the hell is that fair they should have to leave

Exactly, illegal immigration is illegal. It is the criminal's way of doing business. We don't need it, or want it. It's not about your race, it's about your intentions in the future. If you come into the country illegally, what will you do for an encore?

I more disappointed that the government doesn't put a stop to illegal invaders because it sure makes it hard for the honest people to go through immigration and become legal.
