I was over at someone's house to hang out in January of this year and saw a syringe but I don't think that I got near it. He asked me if I wanted to have some marijuana but I said no but there's always a part of me that thinks I did something (used marijuana, cocaine, etc). I've looked on the internet and read about all the drugs but none of the characteristics seem to fit me at all (of people who used it and I've never had it). I guess I just want some reasonable words from rational people so that I can stop worrying about this crap. I am very disease conscious and don't want to catch anything so that's why I am asking this question.

There is this part of me that keeps coming out and worrying about this stuff and it is driving me crazy.

Were you drunk and don't remember using drugs? Did you black out? If no, and you didnt accept any drugs then you didn't do any.

If you live in the states you can just run down to the drug store and take a home drug test. Worth a shot for your peice of mind, eh?

Well, the first thing that you can do is Stop worrying about it. Whether you used or not at that time is something that you cannot change.
I would only be worried if you have a drug screen coming up at your job or something, marijuana can stay in your system for a while (a month or so). You can buy detox pills at GNC that will flush it out of your system.
Other than that, you should just stop going to parties if your that worried about..or cannot remember how wasted you got. I mean its your choice whether you want to use drugs at a party or not. But if you are afraid that you're using drugs.. stay away from friends and peers who you know have drugs.
You are still well and alive today, so whatever you did..? It didn't harm or kill you.

if you are worried about diseases from a needle, see a doctor and explain what happened and they can do some blood tests to find out if you are clean or not.

Have you talked to other people that were there? Did anyone see you do drugs? Did you drink alcohol that night? Maybe you get drunk enough that that part of your memory has been erased/ Alcohol kills brain cells just like drugs do. I suggest not to hang out with anyone that does drugs. If they offer it to you, say no and walk out. Don't risk putting yourself in an unhealthy situtation. Then at least you won't have scared like this again.

Get tested, ask others that were there. If you clean and no one saw you do drugs then assume you didn't and let it go. Having something eat at you will drive you crazy. I remember some bad things I've done in my early 20s and sometimes I was so drunk that I don't remember. I know that I've probably done drugs or slept with someone and just don't remember. I've cleaned up my act and have forgiven myself. I surround myself with good friends now and life is better. I don't have to worry if I'll do the wrong thing.

If you weren't high on something, you would remember whether or not you used any of the drugs. Are you afraid you got high on pot and then used the syringe? Are you concerned about a disease? If so, I would go to the local Health Department and have a blood test done, just to set your mind at ease. There is nothing worse than being worried to death over something like this. More than likely, you did not use it and you don't have anything wrong with you.

Were you drinking alcohol or something? If you were not already taking something then I would think you'd remember if you used drugs or not. Cocaine is usually snorted through your nose, smoked or shot into a vein and believe me, you'd remember. You definitely did not use marijuana through a syringe. Marijuana is smoked and occasionally eaten. If you weren't really intoxicated at the time I would stop worrying about it. If you WERE intoxicated when you may or may not have taken drugs, be safe and get your self a test for HIV and Hep C just to be sure. Good luck!

Go to the doctor or annonomous clinic and get an HIV test. Get a second one 6 months later. Clears your head like nothing else.

If you "don't know" if you did drugs you must have had your judgement impaired pretty bad. Or you have a condition that prevents you from exercizing adult level judgement...

You need to be careful about puting yourself in that position again. You want someone to tell you its "okay" but the truth is you are gambling in a very high stakes game. I don't know if you are "okay" or not.

Go to your doctor. Have a very honest discussion. I get the feeling you are holding back here. You wont get an answer that will satisfy the monster in your head till you put him out in the light.

If you saw a syringe laying around the house and you didn't touch it don't worry about it. If you used marijuana I really wouldn't really worry about it I see no harm in Marijuana however the cocaine is another story. It can really be habit forming and dangerous to your health.

How are we supposed to know if you did drugs? You either did them or you didn't. If you saw a syringe then you saw one. If you said no to the weed then you didn't smoke any.
You would probably not be high anymore though. So don't worry you seem paranoind like people on meth. lol go to the DR. if you arent just joking about this!

you dont remember? well first of all, you dont inject marijuana (or at least thats what I think, I have never done it) so the needle and that dont go together at all. if you were at someones house who did drugs, I have to ask why especially if you are so disease conscious, and why dont you just ask them. yeah, they were probably high on something, but I am sure they would remember. if they dont, then just go to the doctor and get tested for HIV and if you do have it, then I would stop going over to that persons house, because they drugged you.

Um, dude, like nobody shoots up (syringe) marijuana, 'kay?

And if you think you used that syringe or someone used it on ya, then you best hustle yourself to the free clinic for a HIV test and a few hepatitis tests too.
Can't hurt, will make you feel better, right?
SO GO! GO NOW!
