People People People ! I can understand abreviations to cut a word short but why keep spelling words wrong when you have a spell check icon at the upper left of your answer box. Explain! does anyone know why this happens? Then it will be the ones starting trouble while making themselves look stupid from the jump.

I think that if they made the spell check mandatory before sending in a question or answer it would cut down on that a lot.

I type fast so I may have some typos. I try to get my answer out quick so I won't be the last one answering it. I make some mistakes too. It doesn't make me stupid though. This isn't a spelling test is it? We aren't in Enlish class are we? If you know what the person is trying to say just answer the question don't dog him just because he missed a few letters.

I cant agree more. The more technology we get to make our lifes simpler and the more idiotic people get. If it werent for our bodies doing things automatically, alot of people would be in trouble if they had to push a button just to get their day started. You have to spell out everything for people nowadays. Thank God for people like you and I, otherwise the world would really be a stupid place and then we wouldnt look so smart

people like me r lazy and they dont think its really necessary to go thru all the trouble of getting spell check when they assume that u already no what they mean. people tipe like this in the first place cuz they r just used 2 it. its a heck of a lot easier.

It bothers me some times also. But you have to remember, some of the people on this site are young. Not from the US. And some do not grasp the English language. And how to properly word questions and answers.

Too funny! My only explanation is that people are in such a hurry to start trouble, they don't bother using the spell check.

I also find that really annoying. I just keep hoping that one stupid person will jump off a cliff and the rest will follow like lemmings.

i'll tell you why because some of us are not perfectionist such as me i prefer to type the thing i have to type as fast as possible so i can go ahead and try to help someone else tiny mistake does not judge your answers it depends on how clear you are and can the person understand you point of view or the main idea of you answer...

I don't understand why people use those dumb abbreviations anyway, it's has to be just as much work to figure those out than to just type the word.
