I met her here, and we have been talking to each other for a few months. We really love each other soooo much, but I live in Ireland and she lives in America so we have conceded that nothing long term can happen. If she came here on holiday would it be ok for us to meet up? We want to sooo much!!! What do you think???

I think you are a weenie. American chicks are awful. Stay away from them.

I met my bf now through the internet, been together for 1,5 years. He lives in the U.S and i'm in Indonesia. Luckily he has business in Indonesia so we can always meet here and since i'm not working i can come visit him too in the U.S and that's how it works for us now, but personally i hate long distance relationship and if i have to get through this long distance relationship too long, i will probably move on.. find somebody more real! SO my advice, meet her in person and get to know her better and don't forget to arrange time as much as you can to be together if you wanna make it work.. otherwise, forget it! Long distance relationship, sux! at some point.

I think that you should do what you will, and harm none. If she is coming there on holiday, then by all means try to set up a meeting. I do not know if your relationship will work out, I do not know anyone who has experienced one, so you try and make yourself happy any way that you can.

Just go into it with no expectations and make sure she's on the same page. If something comes out of then so be it. If not you have had a good time and not have to wonder what if?
Good Luck

Why not meet? Seems like a good idea to me. Just don't expect too much.

Meet and see where the love goes. You have nothing to lose.

First of all you don't love her, it's just an infatuation. You're making her to be something she's not. Second, don't do it, it's not worth it. Are either of you going to leave your freinds and family to be with each other?
