Not a stupid question... but you will not like my answer :) It all depends how your metabolism handles fat, it depends on your burn rate, it depends on so many factors, there is not an answer for it.
Now, from a mathematical point of view, if you take a 1 month period of time and you do and eat exactly the same things as the month before, at the same time, etc.. etc.. etc.. the odds are you will gain weight, but again, your body is a mysterious machine....

you probably wouldnt gain a ton of weight (maybe some) but your cholesterol would go up and yeah that can clog your arteries

No, you'll just have a heart attack, a stroke, get disgusting skin conditions, etc.
Best thing to do is quit whining and be happy with how you look and quit trying to reengineer how you were made. Give it time - you'll prolly gain more weight than you can bear if you live in the US.

Anyway, I'm not sure ^^; sounds disgusting though. Try for a whole tub then I can say yes, you will gain weight.

The minimum of butter you should eat a day is 1 tablespoon and dont go to fast foods. Ummm also dont try margaine has trans fat, trans fat isn't good for you either.

try eating 2 big meals a day instead it slowes your matabolism resulting in weight gain. but probly not to the butter it will just make you unhealthy
