They will start when they are ready, the important thing is not to talk baby to them, talk to them like you would anyone. I know that probably sounds strange but they will learn faster and better by doing this.

one and a half.. my son at 2 asked the difference between accident and mistake.. But if you read to them ..they learn faster..
