I'd like to get un-grounded. What should I say to my parents? And if that doesn't work, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do this weekend without hanging out with my friends? And keep in mind, I'm not allowed to walk around my neighborhood for more than 30 minutes alone because my parents suspect that I'm meeting my friends. So, any ideas?

Thanks everybody for your answers, great ideas and stuff. All I did was be rude to them, I'm not really even sure what that means/what I did. I wouldn't be as angry if I felt like I did something more drastic. I consider myself to be a pretty good kid. Anyway you can still answer if you want.

I would ask them if there are any tasks that can be done instead of doing nothing. Tell them that you think that it's better to serve out your time doing something constructive rather than doing nothing at all. I don't think just banning kids from stuff is a healthy punishment anyways. Make the time serve the crime, if you broke something valuable, you have to work around your neighbourhood to get enough money to fix it. If you were rude to someone, you have to do 10 nice things for them, etc. I think your parents would agree with that. Otherwise, the next best plan is to do a lot of nice things around the house, but DON'T ask for a shortening of your grounding and if they offer to shorten it, refuse on the grounds that you know what you did was wrong and you deserve your punishment. They will think that you are so mature that they will let you off anyways.

Depends on what you did to get grounded. I believe that whatever you did, you were willing to accept the consequences or you would not have done it, so accept your punishment.
As for what to do this weekend without your friends... try being civil and find odd jobs to help around the house. This will show your parents that you are growing up and might give you a little more space. Working always makes the time pass quicker.
To many times kids think that the parents did something wrong by punishing them, when all along they got punished because they did wrong.
Be grateful that your parents are willing to give up their weekend to ensure that you are being brought up correctly. If all goes well, the grounding sessions will be less frequent as you show more maturity.

Oh, bummer, been there done that. How serious the offense.
Need more information. Do you have anyone you can E mail?
Go on myspace and make a space and browse and get a bunch of the opposite sex to talk to. I did that once when I was grounded and had a bunch of boy friends and then my folks found out and there went myspace and the boy friends but it kept me happy for the weekend. You can put up pictures and see there pictures and there is some pretty racier pictures. How much supervision do you have on the computer? Because there is lots of stuff you can do. I once got a dart board and threw darts in my bedroom.
or you can throw the volleyball into the trash can. Invite your friends over and play really loud music. That usually does it for me. After a while they say ok just get out.

You can't get away doing something and not get punished for it.
Best thing to do is tough it out and avoid doing what you just did that got you grounded.
There's so many things you can do in the house--you can clean your room, learn how to cook, read a book, surf on the computer, play video games, create an artwork, play a game with your siblings, etc.
My goodness, it's not the end of the world if you stay at home.

Sit in your yard and read a good book. Watch a few good movies. Or sit around and talk to your parents. Maybe you'll get to know them before it's to late. They probably grounded you for a good reason. Just remember their your parents and you might be a parent someday too. :)

You are grounded and you are allowed to use the Internet?! That is the most awesome grounding I have ever heard of. Don't your friends have e-mail or instant messanger? You have it great! Just wait it out man.

LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES!! Talk to your parents and explain to them that you were wrong for whatever you did, promise to never do it again.Take your punishment like a man(guessing your a boy)(if your a girl, same thing) and look to see them when your not grounded anymore.Learn to be more mature.

If you want to get un-grounded, clean the house. Or if you have to stay in your room clean your room really good. You good also write an apology letter to your parents. lame, I know, but it works.

Holy crap, when I was grounded when I was a kid it was *no* computer or anything that could be considered remotely fun. How much things change in just a few years.
