ok. i like this guy named brett in my art class. we have a lot of the same interests, first of all that we are both in art, second that we like the same bands (panic! at the disco, afi, taking back sunday, ect.)(we never talked about it, but i can tell from the band tees) third, we have the same shoes (converse chuck taylors, yeah i know they are common, but its something right?) and fourth we find the same people annoying (somehow we manage to tell the same annoying people in our art class to shut up at the exact same time). since we have assigned seats in art, i just cant randomly sit beside him. we dont have the same lunch, or any classes together, so we just see each other in art and in the hall. i see him staring at me sometimes, but when he sees me looking at him looking at me, he looks away really fast. the same goes for me. we are both like really timid, so its hard to talk to each other. i want to get him to notice me more, how?

brett- i can read you mind (he said this very seriously, i think he just couldnt think of anything to say when i started talking. as i said, he's rather timid)

If you really like him the best thing to do is be straight fwd, but subtle with him go up to him and say, do you want to for a coffee and hang out sometime or go to an art gallery, tell him that you dig him, and would like to get to know him better, but don't say anything like you love him or like him or anything like that. You just want to show that your interested, and let him take it from there if he is interested. Sometimes artistic type of guys have problems telling girls that they like them.

ok look this SAME exact thing just happened to me and you need to be EXTREMLY careful do NOT use the friend approch ask your teacher if you can trade seats with the kid next to him try the freind position first then go in for the kill
