ive noticed this guy around school for about a year now and i really want to get to know him. hes pretty quiet and into alot of goth music, apparel, etc. i dont know the best way to get his attention, because if i told him that i thought he had an awesome sense of style hed probably think im stupid.. is there any way i can get his attention without looking like a fool? thanks for the help

thanks everyone! i just wish i had more time to get to know him.. i switch schools in about a month and i go on vacation in 3 weeks :(

Write your name/number on a piece of paper - walk right up to him and ask him his name. He will answer. Once he does, stick the paper into his hand and walk away.
Do NOT look back as you walk away. If he is interested (and he most likely will be) he will call you pretty soon as you have set yourself apart from the herd using confidence with a dash of mystery.

If he is into Goth then he is certainly interested in showing off what he is interested in and therefore interested in knowing if someone thinks he has an awesome sense of style.
The best thing is not to talk to him with anyone else around because he may not be able to show his true feelings with others around so that would not be fair to you or him.
Make sure you do some research online about Goth Music and Goth Style so that when you do get into conversations later you have some items to talk about. Make sure you know your stuff. Know the history of the band members if you are going to say you like a band. Know their names, what they play, and when and where they started. Know your stuff before you talk about it.
Find a time he is walking alone or in a line that none of his friends are in and say his name to get his attention. Make sure to use his name so that he knows you are interested enough to know his name. After you say his name and he is looking at you then be very staight forward and say, "I think you have an awesome sense of style, I wish my parents would let me dress the way I want, it must be nice that you can wear what you want" or this could be "Listen to what you want"...
It doesn't matter what you say just be straight forward and conifident when you talk and smile while being straight forward and just go with what he says back to you. If you know your stuff about his interests you will be able to keep the conversation going.
Guys like people who are interested in their interests. AND don't be let down if he doesn't say much the first time you talk to him because while you may have been thinking about talking to him for days this is all new to him. Give him some time to warm up.
When guys are alone with you they will act much different than when in a group. Give him space in groups and he will find time to be alone with you.
It will work. Guys just need to be lead a little bit but they come around after a bit.

ok i had the same problem, but it was cool one day i decided to talk to him, and now we are talking alot!!! ok girl just be brave and go up to him or if you have him for a class or lunch sit by him and be like "hey," and he'll respond "hi" or something like that. then b like o hey are you into....blah blah, u gotta start studing those goth stuff n music asking him about a song or a band and which ones he is into girl trust me it works in the end it will be worth it. -hope i helped :)

you could start by saying hi in the halls and talking to him for a sec. just ask about soemthing he's wearing or soemthing and then keep doing that. eventually he'll get used to you adn he'll become your friend. go from there. or you could just be asertive and confident and walk right up to him and let him know. either one is good. time is the only difference.

Just be your self and talk to him i am sure he will not think that you are stupid trying is better then not doing anything about it at all. So do it before it gets to late and hey good luck.

Does he listen to music often? If he does, just walk up to him and ask what he's listening to. Chances are you will know the artist and oyu can strike up a conversation from there.

Just say, "Hi" "My name is blah blah and I was wondering how you became interested in the gothic music and look." Get him to talk about himself..guys love that! And be a good listener.

Ask him a question about something. Just use anything to spark a conversation and let it go from there.

talk 2 him about a goth artist or something then ask him what class he's in etc.... i hope i helped
