It's hard but you have to give ppl a chance sometimes. This guy was a total jerk but one of my cousins started dating him and now they have a baby together and he's the sweetest father and boyfriend.
It just depends on whether the person wants to date or not. I don't want to be in a relationship so I'm basically the worst person to date right now, lol. I'll admit it!
So really. You'll find that person if you just put yourself out there and have patience for a good guy.

there are plenty of good people, but it's hard to find two people who care for eachother, have a balance of similarities and differences, AND are able to change in parallel paths. Making the relationship stay through the long haul feels like the tough part. Whipping up enough romance to fall in love is relatively easy by comparison. It's the staying power that's tough to find.

Because you are looking around, shopping, just like going out for a pair of shoes. Unfortunately, you have to date around and get to know different people to learn about yourself and not just others. You need to know what kind of person you are in a relationship and discover what would compliment your personality. But usually, love will find you. When you are least looking for that perfect someone, boom!, he or she will appear! And you will know.
In the mean time, lower your expectations while dating and just try to enjoy the company of the opposite sex. Don't be looking for love, because like the Supremes sang in the early 60's, "Love don't come easy..."

It sometimes depends on your age and mind set. What do you want in a relationship? I have been married for 41 years and love my hubby more today than I did when we first married. It isn't hard to find a good person but you have to have set in your mind what you are looking for in a partner. Remember good looks fade but a good heart doesn't. Good Luck in your search.

Because you look in all the wrong places you have to always remember approach determines response how we present ourselves to others will determine how we get treated. It is hard to find the right one maybe what we look for is right under our noses alot of the time looks are decieving no wait make that most of the time because we spend to much time feeling oh she's so pretty , oh his so cute but when it comes dowm to it we end up with someone who is concided bottom line is what we normaly see is not what we get .

I think you have to have some crappy relationships, so that you can really appreciate the good one you end up with. Look at each one as a learning experience.

1 Because people tend to look for a mate that's perfect, rather than a mate who's perfect for them...
2 Both people in the relationship tend to assume things about the other rather than taking the time to discuss things...
3 Far more time is spent in activity rather than rest with the other...
4 Conversation becomes only a means to getting one's desires met rather than the open, honest discussion of concepts and their meanings it was intended to be...
5 Many are shallow and superficial and tend to deal with only the surface rather than what REALLY counts - because they are unaware of it...

because most people are self-centered and always looking out for No. 1. Meaning they do not know what a relationship is or what it takes.
