Your plan is sound, and you are doing everything right.
You may not necessarily lose the pounds (because you'll probably build muscle, which weighs more than fat for the same volume), but you'll lose INCHES, which is probably what you're going for anyway.
Keep it up, you're doing great.

It depends on how much you weigh now. If you are under 200 pounds, then you will *not* lose 15-20 pounds in a month from jobbing 4-5 times a week for 20-30 minutes.
When you begin exercising, you will start converting fat to muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, so it is counter productive to the traditional concept of "weight loss." Where actual weight loss comes in is when you begin burning excess fat.
There are a couple of problems with your proposed exercise plan:
1. If you do not currently exercise, you should not be running 4-5 times a week. If you ever run that much, you should be able to do an "easy" run (defined as being able to hold a conversation) for 2 miles without stopping to walk. This way, your body will be conditioned to take that kind of road abuse.
2. You should expect to lose a few pounds a week if you stick to a disciplined exercise routine. Setting actual weight loss goals are not healthy; setting attainable *fitness* goals is a good idea.
3. Traditional minds believe that peak fat burning workouts are long and slow. Therefore, jogging is *not* a good idea because it is high impact. It's a great exercise, but not for the overweight. Instead, try a low or no impact exercise at a gym, such as EFX, stationary bikes, etc. In fact, if you are really serious about a hard workout and loosing weight, I've seen people take spinning classes and drop excess fat very quickly. They are high intensity cardio workouts that last for 45 minutes. Do that 4-5 times a week and you'll drop more than jogging for 20 minutes.
Good luck.

Of course you will
but you should stay in this way "jog 4-5 times a week, for 20-30 minutes, for 3-4 weeks"

Although this probably won't be the answer you are looking for, the best way to lose weight is a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. You don't have to go on a fad diet either, just eat what you personally know is healthy. No one needs to tell you that an apple is better than a donut. As for the exercise, I would suggest running 2-3 miles a day along with some light weight work outs. It may sound daunting, but it works. There are no easy magic solutions.

Jogging is not necessary. A brisk walk for 45 minutes to an hour will do. Do not cut down on junk food and pop. Do away with it totally. Drink cranberry juice or eat asparagus along with a nutritional menu.

Good grief! You don't need to work that hard. You could potentially loose 15 to 20 pounds in 2 months if you exercise 3 to 4 times per week and cot back on fat. sugar, and overall calories. Increase you fiber intake to at least 5 grams a day. Drink diet sodas only and use skim milk and lihght butter. Buy a food scale and invest in measuring cups. Your gonna crash and burn if you go too crazy on a diet.

Well to lose 15lb you would have to burn 52,500 calories, and for 20lb 70,000 calories. That means that you would have to burn about 1875 cals to 2500 cals a day. That is after everything you eat. I'm not saying that you wont lose any weight, but it may not be as much as you want. You could always go anorexic for a month or two that would probably work. No just kidding. It really all depends on how fast you run and how high your heartrate is. You should get it to about 160 beats per minute for 30 minutes a day 5 days a week for about 3 weeks to see good results.

You can, its not impossible or unheard of. The first 5-10 pounds will probably be excess water weight, then after that you start burning excess fat. I would hope more for 6 weeks for the results you want.

It 3 meals a day, but your third meal of the evening (dinner) should be soup and salad. Eat good meals for breakfast and lunch, that way you'll burn off what you really need to burn off, never sleep on calories

It will take longer than 3 weeks. More like 2 months if you're strict with yourself.
