Yes, it is illegal. But honestly, there are companies who do advertise for employees and they may not get any answers for months. Or they may get workers that aren't reliable. So it leaves them no choice but to hire the ones who will work for pennies. I know it is wrong, but everyone is trying to survive. No only do mexicans work illegal, so do russians, africans, polish, canadians...and so. We all try to make a living. Honestly americans are spoiled, who will work for 7.50hr for construction without life insurence or medical benefits? We want to be sure we will be paid if we get injured. Or know we will make ends meat and then some.....I dont hate illegals workers, if they didn't do some of this construction, we would be able to enjoy the place we work or live in.

Yes it is VERY illegal to hire Illegal immigrants any company that is caught with any illegal immigrants on the payroll would be fined very heavily for sure, and maybe more.

Turn the companies in if you know that they have illegal immigrants, you may be in for a reward, or a surprise if they ar legal immigrants.

yes it is but i know there is a way they cover it up so if they ever get questioned they will have some back up .cause i know where i work they hire a bunch of illegals from el Salvador and the one that hires is bringing in all his family from there to work and they admitted to not having papers so i know there is a way they lie about being legal and hopefully they will randomly here a rumor and do some investigating over there .

Yes, it is absolutely illegal to knowingly hire an illegal alien. Does anyone ever get arrested or seriously fined? No. Are our Congress and President doing anything to help? No. Is this the American way of live our fore fathers fought and died for? No. It makes me sick to think about how this country is going to the shitter.

Yes!

(AP) A Texas employment agency was sentenced to five years of probation for hiring illegal immigrants to work at the nation's top producer of military battlefield rations, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

The Tollin Group was also fined $20,000 and ordered to pay $414,000 in civil penalties Wednesday. It has been barred from Department of Defense contracts for three years.

The San Antonio-based company, which does business as Remedy Intelligent Staffing, pleaded guilty in January to hiring illegal immigrants and trying to cover it up by falsifying employment eligibility forms. The workers were hired for Wornick Co., which makes MREs _ or "meals ready-to-eat."

The investigation was initiated in February 2003 after an al-Qaida operative was arrested with information pointing to McAllen and Wornick as terrorist targets. Wornick had been awarded a $47 million contract to produce more than 1.1 million MREs for U.S. forces in Iraq.

The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force ran background checks on Wornick employees and found hundreds of temporary employees with fraudulent documentation.

No direct link to terrorism was found.

Yes. It is illegal to hire any who are not legally allowed to work in the US, and it constitutes harboring a fugitive in some states.

The answer is Yes it is, but if you want to help someone who is iligal your best bet is to tell hem that you are going to hire hem as a independent contractor, so he is responsible to pay hes own taxes and all the rest to you just have to find the contract for that, i dont have that info right now but there is a forme that look like the one employers have to fill out with they empoys but is to make shure the IRS knows that you are not responsible for hes taxes and legal status.

Then a great deal of companies would have to be fined because we either picked, packaged, cleaned, shipped, built, fixed, sewed, painted, assembled, delivered, you name it.

And just because the workers are of brown skin does not mean they are in the U.S. illegally.
