God Desires Your Success
1 Samuel 15:22
God wants you to be successful. This does not mean He has an automatic plan for you to become rich or famous, although either of these may be included in His ultimate design for your life.
God's idea of success begins at the Cross where Jesus died. Success is not measured by what you do in life or what you gain financially. Your love and devotion to Jesus Christ measure your success.
In 1 Samuel 15, we read how Saul decided he would offer a sacrifice that only God's anointed priest was commissioned to offer. Since Samuel was not present, Saul felt justified in his actions and made the sacrifice himself.
This one act of disobedience cost Saul the kingdom. Here is a lesson we need to learn if we are going to be successful. God anoints certain people to do certain things. He has placed leaders in our lives for a reason. If we want to lead, we must first learn to follow.
If you fail to submit to your God-given authority, then success from God's perspective will be difficult to achieve.
A successful person has learned humility to the point that he no longer thinks about whether he has gained it or not.
We are called to do the will of God, but this only can be done at the feet of Christ.

Our purpose in life = Live Life to the Fullest. You're question makes us wonder whether that is our only purpose in life and how to achieve that. Life life to the Fullest = Live today as it's your last day, never regret the past , don't worry about future. All of us should have our own checklist . I have mine, it's quite simple but workable. For example 1) To start each day joyfully and end it happily. 2) To make at least 1 person's day happy 3) Career decision - to reach a .... post by the yr ... the list can go on. When you have this goals , we try to achive this to our best capability. This experiences should make us wiser and a better person . Do a personal review every 10 yrs. Have you grown wiser, has the experiences made you a better person . If not, it's time to do something about it. Has your relationship with God improved ? How is your self confidence ? All this is defined in live life to the fullest. There are alot of other definitions for this, but too lengthy to go on.

You learn that living life abundantly is to live humbly. Acceptance of GOD'S laws, living by them and achieving success in spirituality and faith is living life abundantly. It has no relativity to financial worth. Life is abundant when lived Godly like and follow HIS ways. When I kneel before HIM, at HIS feet and thank HIM for the blessings, tender mercies and graces he has bestowed upon me, I know that I am living abundantly. I just wish I could attain the knowledge of how to go about receiving the gift HE gave me for no reason and be joyful and full of the abundance of HIS love for me by allowing me to even be chosen to receive it....peace & love.......~p~

For me, living life abundantly means spending quality time with my loved ones; pursuing my interests with gusto; studying to fill my mind with knowledge; rendering service to my fellow man whenever and wherever possible; and not letting laziness, timidity, shyness, or fear stop me from making each moment of this finite lifespan I've been given count.

Terrific question.
