You say it and they say it back. Its automatic. What they really mean it, they like you, but they are not "allowed" to say that. So, if you are smart and are a girl, never say it first.

I think society has made the word I Love you too casual. Like if the pizza guy shows up 5 minutes early and you hungry you might respond with, " I love you" which is weird but you've seen the commercials. But there are people out there that truly appreciate the word I love you.

I think women say it more than men , hoping that they will hear it in return because men have a hard time sharing their "feelings"!And men say it back, because like most of the guys are telling you , they don't want to hurt our feelings.Either way, I think it's because the partner saying it,isn't sure of the others feelings!I think it's being "over used" and should only be said when meant!

i guess they think it sounds good to them but people need to realize u cant play with peoples emotions and feelings don't say something just because u think it will make the other person feel better

sometimes is just because you have no choice but to say it...I don't know...i been there...I have said it and did not meant it at all...it doesn't feel good
