Pyle might as well change their name to "pile"...and Pyramid isn't too good either. If you're stuck on one of those then I'd suggest not getting an audio upgrade. JVC and Pioneer make some pretty good ones however.

I would put the stock stereo in my BMW Z3 against anything pyle or pyramid and still probably out perform in clarity alone. Stay stock or spend a little money for an actual upgrade.

well if you dont want a list of other brands i would suggest staying with the stock stuff and useing that money for engine upgrades or a nice set of rims cause both of those brands Pyramids or pyles of junk
How high does your sht stack before its called a poo mountian instead of pyle or pyramid

I would say Pyramid only because you don't want to hear other brands however I really want to tell you to go for Kenwood head unit and Infinity subs and amp

go with a mtx amp they are normally reasonably priced for amps about 200 canadian for 150 rms amp and rockford fosgate subs are normally on sale somewhere and they sound nice and if you need a deck i would recommend jvc they are normally decently priced too
