The shocks last only for a second, but the area of the shock is sore and stiff for about 12 hours. The shocks recur in the same finger off and on for a couple hours, then disappear. They will spontaneously happen again on a different day, and in a different finger.

It sounds like the nerves in your finger are reacting to something. It could be anything from heavy metals poisoning to a pinched nerve. You should have your doctor take a look at it. (I get the same thing, and it was diagnosed as tendonitis, but not before I had blood tests and an exam to rule out other causes)

Hi there,

In technical term, this will be what "Static", of or being a electricity flowing in a current, but collecting in the surface of the objects. Normally, the sore will not last for so long. Is a few sec feeling.

Make it simple foryou to understand, example, you are like a battery on the + side, and the surface current of the object is on the - side, so once + and _ meet together, you will get the static.

As your sore last for too long hours, so maybe in medical term, i will suggest you to go for some relaxation massage as it could be due to your blood circulation is not flowing too well.

Well I don't know about the static electricity, but I guess anything is possible? I would be more concerned if it was the left side. That could easily be related to your heart. Not saying it is but the best treatment is prevention and it would be worth looking further into. Go to www.webmd.com. But be careful because you might read something on there that will scare you to death.

Sometimes, a torn muscle gives an electrical sensation, but It sounds like a problem with the nerves in that area. I don't know what the shaking has to do with it though. You might want to talk to a school nurse about it.

Take your fingers out of the electrical socket. The pain will subside immediately.

This is caused by static electricity. I get it all the time from photocopy machines, escalators, and metal counters in department stores.
You also get it more if you wear man made fibres.

Sounds like some kind of neuropathy going on. See your doctor, you might have a pinched nerve, or something more serious like diabetes.
