multiply by 3 on both sides
x+2 = 6x+15
transfer 6x to the left and 2 to right
x-6x = 15-2
or -5x = 13
divide by -5 both sides
x = -13/5

x+2=2x+5
-2x = -2x
-------------
-x+2=5
. -2 = -2
------------
-x = 3
x= -3
