Relationships are about give and take. Unfortunatly women usually have to give more. You have to weigh your options if its worth you giving up your "party' life to be a wife and mother. You may be overlooking that you are lacking for your kids and for him because its hard to see what you're doing wrong when you're having fun. I'm 21 and my finacee is older as well and I didn't realize I was making a lot of mistakes until I quit doing some of the things I was doing.
But if you take a step back and realize that you can't do any more than you're doing, then you two should split because it is easier to break up than it is to get a divorce.

Kind of confusing here. But if you can't get along with his life choices then how can you have a life with him? You say "after we had kids".. so you two had kids together? Why do you think he wants you to be an old maid? (which is hard to do at 22, maybe by 42) He says your boring ..why? So many things that need to be filled in

Sounds like you need to communicate better and stop blaming each other, blaming the kids or pointing out the other's faults. Concentrate on what keeps you together and what you love about each other. Build on those things, and remember to really listen to one another. Maybe you need to get away form the kids for a bit and reintroduce yourselves. Sometimes raising children eats away at a relationship because so much time and effort is spent on them... and not enough is devoted to you! Hang in there!

I know you have lots of ties, but if you are not getting along, you are better off without him. Take it from me, I was in a relationship for 9 long years with someone I loved but didn't get along with....I am much happier without him.

Your love for him may be real, but you don't belong together and if you get married, and if things are already like you describe, you'll end up divorced.
P.S. The word 'and' is spelled 'and', not 'an'.

I agree with Kylierika,
You have children, so first and foremost you should act like a mother and put the foolishness aside.

Well then figure out what you really want from or out of your relationship, then the two of you should discuss it and come to some kind of compromise.
