The recent one told me that most illegal aliens are fearful they will be deported and maybe should have thought about it when they were waving another country's flag in America.

They've demonstrated that we, as american citizens, need to have a 'rally' across all 50 states in support of immigration enforcement, and 'no bullshit' border policies. In the 60's and 70's, it was all cool to try and help Mexico, poor ol' Mexico, ya just gotta feel sorry for em. Then came the 80's, and people started to get a glimmer that a lot of people had moved to the United States to get that help. In 86, they had the naturalization, where something like 3 million people immediately became US citizens, and everyone thought 'happily ever after', right? Fast-forward to May, 2006, people marching in the streets demanding citizenship.
WHAT happens in 2020 if amnesty is granted? What, indeed...
My view is, it's time to build some border fence. And, instead of feeding our excess horses to Japan as 'hors de houvres';), why not mount one border patrolman per horse and send them forth kind of like on constant roving guard on our side of the border?
Give each man a rifle, a dog, and a radio. Keep the remote control toys in the garage, and 'cowboy up' on the border problem. For added effect, go 'retro' and find em uniforms identical to the ones that were worn by the Army during the US/Mexico war. Would-be illegal border crossers can spend hours enjoying history books that recount how such men basically marched/rode up to the gates of Mexico City, and stood by during the signing of the Treaty Of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which ended the war and established the southwestern United States as part of the Union. The year was 1848, and the Treaty was followed by the Gadsden Purchase of 1853, which settled any 'claim' on US lands by Mexico for all perpetuity.

The demonstrations tell us that we're about to repeat some history because others have failed to learn from it. Call out the cavalry...

The demonstrations have pointed out that there are many more illegals here than I thought and many more people in this country that are pro-illegal activity. The good thing that came out of these demonstrations is that the true feelings of the illegals came out as they flew non-American flags and burned American flags. This rallied more people to come out in support of actually enforcing some laws for a change.

I know I'm going to get slammed for this, but I've had it up to here!
Last time I looked, this country was still called America. If people want representation, then they can pay taxes like the rest of us. Why are we spending so much money on illegals who contribute nothing? Why do so many considerations have to be made for people who don't bother to learn to speak and read English?
The demonstrations just make me angry!

I do not agree with the demonstrations. It's good that people are becoming united for a similar cause but they are going about it the wrong way. They should focus on becoming educated, and legalized in order to vote and make their voices heard.

That illegal immigrants aren't very smart. They first protested while flying the Mexican flag. Yeah, that'll get a lot of support. Next time around, someone got organized and gave them all American flags. And the whole time they're chanting "we're not criminals". Um, yes, you are. Crossing our border without our permission is against the law. Illegals are criminals. Why should we embrace, or even tolerate, criminal behaviour.

Which demonstrations? The pro-illegal group, who cares, we are going to deport the illegals period. The Muslims that were demonstrating in support of Hezbollah need to be careful, and don't complain that if need be you end up in an internment camp should worse come to worse. I will not feel one seconds remorse.

They demonstrated to me that way too many people watch Jerry Springer!

People want to blur the lines and spin things to their liking.

If you claim to be for immigration reform and stopping the illegals then they claim you are against immigration and people coming here to make a better life for themselves.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am all for people coming here to make a better life. BUT DO IT LEGALLY DAMNIT!
if you are ILLEGAL then that means you are not supposed to be here PERIOD!

Pure hatred for American life and laws.
You would think most could figure what you are asking unless they are ignorant.
