I'm trying to lose 5-10lbs so I can have slimer thighs and a flatter stomach. But my bf is really opposed to me losing weight because he says that I look "fine and sexy" already. But I don't think I look ok. I hate my stomach so much it's so hard to lose weight from my stomach. I lost 3 lbs already. Anyway,

Looks lose their importance over time - thank goodness, we all age. Love grows over time, and if your boyfriend loves your thighs and belly, then be satisfied with that. At least he's not an ****** always telling you to lose weight - he sounds like a gem. Keep him!
P.S. Boys like girls with curves; like a highway, a flat stretch is boring, a hilly terrain is the beautiful scenic route.

You need to do what makes you feel comfortable. If he really cares about you he thinks you are fine and sexy because of what is inside not your physical looks so he should still think the same way if you loose some weight. Things probably will be better though because now you will be happy with yourself too!

I think so. The physical attraction either grows stronger or less stong the longer you know someone. The guy down the street could be gorgeouse but when you get to know him you start noticing flaws because he's a jerk. The same goes for the chick at 7 eleven. She could be plain but you start to think she is pretty the longer you know her because she is a sweet heart.
|You need to feel comfortable with you. He should love you no matter what.

If your boyfriend thinks you look good and sexy as you are thats a good boyfriend. Not alot of guys say that now of days. If you dont look the way they want theyll get rid of you.(unfortunetly). If your trying to lose weight for yourself then let your boyfriend know its a personal thing. Im sure he will suport you if its to make you happier.

Looks will always be of prime importance to a relationship. How you "think" you look is also very important, as these things color how others see you and how you respond to him and the world. That said, looks become only one of many prime factors as you discover more and more about the other. Relationships are a voyage of discovery that never cease. And also self-discovery. Now, do you want to only please your boyfriend? Is he forever? Or yourself? Will there be others? Decide, and move forward.

true beauty of a person comes from within. u are really lucky to have a bf who appreciates who you are and loves u for it. as your bf already told u, u may be looking just fine. well in the end its upto u whether you really want to loose weight. good luck

In my experience, many young women who THINK they need to lose weight actually don't, and that starts down a bad path. Listen to the boy. He obviously thinks that you look fine.

Yes looks seem to get less important in a relationship once it starts to get serious because when a relationship gets serious it is not about looks but about how you feel about one another.
