I fell in love with this name when i was watching a movie. The movie was dubbed and the man pronounced it like the name Joshua. Thats right . . . right?

Giosuè is an Italian name, in English you translate it in Joshua... But it's not used, is a very old name... I don't know anyone called Giosué!

Gisuè is a name from the Bible, and it is translated with Joshua in ENglish... it has nothing to do with Giovanni and is still quite used by Evangelic Christians in Italy.

Giosuè is italian but not so common...

it may be another version for Giuseppe or the corrispective for the ebraic Joshua...

Have you seen "La vita è bella"? By Roberto Benigni...(life is beautiful)...i link that name to that movie...

giosue' nothing to do with joshua is more like giovanni when you read the name is....jo sue' togheter
very famous giosue' was carducci italian writer
