Easier and Harder. Easier because I don't have to carry the burdens of my past sins anymore and harder because I am going against the flow of what the world calls pleasure. But the Word of God calls sin.

Both. My faith helps me in that I feel like I have a sense of purpose and a directions I am trying to go...a guiding light you might say. However, being of any faith will put limitations on what you do, say, believe, etc. so you can run into situations where that makes things difficult. I do not drink alcohol for religious reasons, and sometimes when I go out to business dinners and the others are all drinking it can be hard and they sometimes razz you about it. But on the whole, my faith makes me HAPPIER, regardless of how easy or hard my life is, I believe it makes me happier, and that is what matters in the end.

My faith makes my life easier.
No, it's not like my life is all roses...I have plenty of struggles and trials. But knowing that I have Jesus to fall back on, even if the entire world disagrees with me, makes my life much easier. Knowing that I'm never alone makes my life easier.

It's difficult but rewarding. I can't explain it. When someone begins to follow God through Christ(in my spirituality), life gets harder because there are people who don't want you to be spiritually happy(demonic spirits), when you hold your heart and head up high, and pray to your source, whatever that may be-you feel stronger. Today I prayed before going to work because I was stressed the night before and afterwards things got hot, unbelievably bad like today was a test or something. After a while I made a couple of new friends who prayed with me(without me asking, or knowing my situation) and we smiled and had coffee. I feel so much better now, it did make my day go so much smoother...

It makes my life much easier. I know there is a G-d and a reason for things.
And, as I do not believe G-d takes a one on one interaction with people, He has sent me an angel for each shoulder that helps me along the way, throughout the day. It is a comforting feeling.

More difficult, I think, though having been a Christian for 18 of 30 years I don't have a lot to compare it to. It's easier only in that I know I'm never alone -- God is always with me. But the reality of the Christian life's abundance is a lot of trials, a lot of refinement, and a lot of temptation. It's more difficult but more rewarding, much like having children.

In retrospect it makes my life easier on a day to day basis. But, no, my faith is not easy on a day to day basis.
I believe in freedom, but freedom is not free. Likewise if our faith is aspiring then it will challenge us, make us grow and that is not easy, at least for me.
But when I look over my shoulders at my growth and commitment to my faith I see things have gotten easier.

Easier, and more rewarding. Do the yellow lines on the road make driving easier or more difficult?
