Also, my underline and fonts, bold etc need to be returned to taskbar

View, Toolbars, Customize, Toolbars tab, check Formatting, Reset button.

Go to Tools, Customize and click on the Command tab.
Go to the format tools and you will find your items there. Just drag them up to a place in the toolbars where you want them.

Try the customize menu under tools to reset your toolbars

- if you cant put it back, get used to your keyboard...
Underline - Control + U
Align Center - Control + E
Align right - Control + R
Align Left - Control + L
Bold - Control + B
otherwise try view - toolbars.
