Absolutely!!!!!!!!!! Why are vets humane with animals, but doctors are not? There is nothing worse than watching a loved just fade away.

I believe that an individual has the right to determine whether they wish to live or die provided that person is in a sane state of mind when making the decision.

It has been my intent to begin a campaign for a 'Right to Choose' card, similar to a Donor card, that can be carried by a person expressing whether their life should be maintained or terminated in the event of them not being able to express an opinion at the time. Such a scheme would be difficult to implement and require some stringent controls but it would allow people to have their wishes carried out regardless of the opinions of others who may be religiously or emotionally influenced. And it would take the pressure away from the doctors.

Yes, i believe that every person on this planet has the right to die with dignity. If an animal is in pain do you let it suffer, NO, so why should it be any different for humans. Providing the person involved is of sound mind i think it should be their choice. I think its terrible that people in this country that want to die with some dignity has to go abroad to do so. They should be able to do it in their own home surrounded by their loved ones, so their passing is more comfortable.

Personally if i had terrible incurable illness and was going to waste away to nothing that once resembled me i wouldn't want to be here anymore. I wouldn't want to be a burden on my family, and i have thoroughly thought it through and would do it, it's my life my decision not the laws. I think it terrible that people who has helped their loved ones pass over are handcuffed and taken away like a criminal when all they wanted to do was help the person they loved.

So many things look/sound so good but turn out so bad.

Do you think the original intent of abortion on demand had even a vague idea that in time we would use that law to "abort" full term babies by killing them as they emerge from the womb?

Welfare sounded so very humane that few, if any, had the foresight to see the misery and destruction of lives that it has produced. -dependence, trapped, idleness that has produced criminals, destruction of the family, and the list goes on.

SO, euthanasia, if legal, will lead to family members or insurance providers or hospitals/nursing homes, without a doubt, WILL eventually decide who lives and who dies based on age or $$ or some other lame excuse.

I think everyone should have the right to choose to end thier own lives in the case of illnessess such as MND, there are lots of illnessess where it could be made a possiblilty. The problems start when other people try to influence a persons decision.

Yes I do but only in very desperate situations. There would have to be strong laws on it so people with depression didn't prematurely end there lives. Patients that are suffering when there is no more medical help available should be able to end their lives.

Yes. If the person has agreed to it in a living will or is suffering heavily and wants to get it over with and it is supervised by the proper authorities in the proper settings.

I think tha our culture is frightened of death, and consequently euthenasia.

I believe that it is right that an individual should be able to determine when their life should come to a close.

This is an honourable attitude to life.
