Absolutely. Prayer. Praying with a purpose, believing you will recieve an answer, and expecting to get an answer. Not the kind of prayer that says, "Ok, God if you're there make me happy, or give me a million dollars." or some other sign. But a real heart felt prayer to a Father who longs to hear from you. Remember, it's not like leaving a voicemail or something, you have to pray, then activly wait for an answer. It doesn't mean you have to stay on your knees until you get an answer, but you do need to be spiritually open to recieve the answer and recognize it as the answer to the question/request you made. Sometimes it happens immediately, other times it takes a few days or longer. Also remember, God's time is not the same as our time, so don't rush Him.

Yes you can and God would love to hear you and answer you. Unfortunately, people are not very good at listening and keeping there minds open to the many ways God can talk to you; but if it is truly in your heart to do so , then it will happen. P.S. there are some books that claim or don't claim( it is left up to you to decide) that the writers of the books were speaking to God. Two suggestions are LETTERS FROM THE COSMOS by Carol Sweidler and CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD by Neil Donald Walsh. Hope that helps. You understand that if the common person 2 thousand years age could write down Gods words and God hasn't changed then certainly anyone today can hear Him/Her also.

No, you cannot communicate with god... it has been proved time and time again that PRAYING DOES NOT WORK. (oh, and that "God" doesn't even exist! thats a concept created by MAN)
eg. Out of 100 cancer patients, 50 were prayed for and 50 were not... any you'll never guess the result.. the one who were prayed for dropped dead as quickly as the one who were not prayed for.
Anyone can take the "Lucky Horse Shoe" test and PROVE TO YOURSELF RIGHT NOW THAT GOD DOES NOT EXIST and that PRAYING IS A LOAD OF SUPERSTITION RUBBISH... do the test and you will see...

My God whom i communicate with, pray to (there is a lot more than just a ceiling) I, the insignificant, primitive being...happen 2 talk to him, guess what...he also answers...and talks back to me...and He does love me more than human mind can conceive...that's what u need to understand...God is not human...don't try to apply our humanly rules on him...it doesn't work...n yes He loves u beyond ur imagination...can u even imagine he sees ppl like u n me..as honored ...in the Bible God says his heart yearns for us...He yearns for u....to "communicate" with him...u think he made us to watch us from a distance ... no...he does want to communicate with us...if u don't U R MISSING OUT ON A LOT...imagine talking to ur creator, who loves u so much that he gives up his own son..He becomes u (human) to feel ur pain...and then yearns for u to communicate with him n see him n become his son...
Jesus Christ WANTS u...y don't u ask him y...may b u'll figure out y all these "fools" (as the bible said we'll look like) believe in him n love him so much

Accordingly, we communicate with God thru prayer, and He responds (I know, hardly ever if at all) through revelations. The secret is, is you have to be humble enough for God to accept your prayers. There's a whole thing about this but I'll just leave it at that.

I believe that God hears prayer. I believe that He answers it. i believe that an open viewable conversation between God and Man is possible in the future after mankind is perfected enough to be in God's presence. Until then, there is a provision, a Holy spirit that transports our prayer to God.
