Dipin, its a good question many might be having in mind. Falling in love makes a person most happy. But a break up also makes a person most unhappy. Human psychology has a tendency to develop negative feelings against something which has caused you unhappiness. The thoughts of your previous experience always dominate your present. Your mind would not allow you to touch fire if you have experienced that it burns. Thats how the mind treats something that caused you harm.
So if you want to love another person again you will have to understand your own past and get releived of the harm it has caused you. Get over the negative feelings it has created in you. Only then a vacant space is created in your mind for thoughts of another person to occupy. So try to get over the negative feelings first.
Look for compatibility with the other person before you even think of falling in love. For a long term relationship you need to have a greater level of compatibility.

Because it is a lot like falling in love the first time. This time around though you have experiences to think back on, both good and bad. You have a history to compare things with, but you still feel like you are going out there for the first time, scared as hell..

Well when you say second time, I assume that the first time you fell in love it didn't work......I would have to say the hardest thing about falling in love for the second time, is that you are scared of what might happen because you know the first time aroun it didnt work..... but never be scared to love again...Love can be a beautiful thing....take care and god bless

I really don't think it is. The first step is letting go of the first love, the second step not 2 compare new people to your first. Find interesting things about the person your with and go forward. Once u find the right one you'll know. You've been in love once so you'll know when you are again. Date, not just one person but many and you'll find it again.

becuz you cant forget the first time. every time u want to do something the first one is fresh and reminds you of all the good moments and that makes u not give good justice to the second one.
sometimes u have given so much of love and patience to the first one and u r turned down that u r not ready to do so in the second.

You know too much. You have too many experiences, too many expectations and too many disappointments. Try to set them aside and only remember the joy of the falling ... then it won't be so difficult.

as first impression lasts for ever,also first love left scars on your heart,second love!it is not a love ,it is just u used to be with that person and it is better than being alone!

theres just two reasons ...
when it ddint work...
youve invested so much in the relationship that ddint gave you a decent return...and its haunting you , that you feel like you needed a payback..
youre still inlove with the person...
it can also be bcoz you still love the person and you havnt really moved on.. they say first love never forgets.. i know how it feels
