Righteous are people that avoid evils, almost all monotheist religions/sects agree on what is evil. The nature of evil is:

Jealousy, greed, gambling, self-conceit, impulsiveness, impatience, hypocrisy, associating with evil people, homosexuality, bisexuality, fornication, adultery, incest, raping, lying, stealing, fear, anger, distraction (music, alcohol, and drugs), dancing, pornography, lack of self-confidence, hatred, pride, lack of faith in God, women exposing their hair in public, women exposing their flesh in public (arms, legs, bellies, backs, etc), lack of self-esteem, cursing and apathy.

Anyone who shamelessly engages in an evil, will get enticed into other evils, the ends of evil is lack of ones soul, such as lack of personality or multi-personality, and God confuses the person by letting the poltergeist haunt them, so as to make them realize that there are supernatural powers in the world, and that the person should join the side of good.

the unrighteous are the ones who reject God the Son, same for the wicked. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, so I will say the wise are those who fear the Lord, the righteous are those who obey Him. Seems simple doesn't it?

Wisdom is to think and act rigth. to achive what's good. A number of "religions" have tried to teach the right path for living.

Jesus made it very clear that the 2 first and foremost commandments are:
to love God with ALL our being and above ALL "things", and to love ALL our fellow men & women, even if the may be our enemy. Any laws or "interpretations" deviating from those two are invalid according to Jesus.

I have no doubt that Jesus taught the right way. As I mentioned before, He was not the only one who taught compassion AND forgiveness as rules for life. But I believe He did it most clearly.

As for the "unrightteous", to them the concept appears as “not logical”, “impractical” or “unrealistic”. So they find excuses or make “interpretations” or pick more “logical” parts from our holy books or see them as "myths" to “justify” their actions, and forget about the basic truth.

The righteous are the saved sinners. The unrighteous are those sinners who have turned their backs on God.

I'm wise. Why are you asking this question, just to stir up trouble and try and make people feel like they need to be "saved", or like they are going to be "deystroyed by God"? That sounds wicked to me.

It's very straight forward, we are all by default, condemned to damnation because of our sinful nature. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory. We all transgress against God's laws, we are in fact incapable of keeping them and are thereby cursed without Jesus in our lives.

We come into a right relationship with God (righteousness) by accepting the free gift of salvation that can only be obtained through accepting Jesus into our hearts. We are thereby credited by the grace of God with His righteousness because we have none of our own. We do this by exercising the faith of Jesus that His Holy Spirit uses to draw us to Him.

The wise recognise their need for a saviour and turn to God through Jesus.

We can not earn our salvation by our works, but our works become a function of our relationship with Him as we seek to do His will.

The unrighteous are those who refuse to accepted the gracious gift of salvation through Jesus.

Guess that is a question only God can answer.
Everyone thinks they are good. No one looks at himself and says "wow am I a snuck!" Everyone thinks they are saved.
